To clarify, you’re talking about Explore normal mode because that’s definitely not true for the higher Warlord modes.

The ONGOING complaint in this thread is now that Valkyrie is not nearly as useful as she used to be. That’s absurd. She still fills Emperor Khorvash, hands down the best Invade troop in the game, in the same amount of time.
So if it’s not about the souls, what is it about? I’m all ears.
In EXPLORE. I can’t even right now. Keep repeating the same things that you aren’t understanding.
You are using garbage troops then. That is not variety, im not using them because they are deadweight. Why should it be choice between getting souls using junk cards in Explore mode and having fun?
Valkyrie wasnt overpowered. She is the weakest converter but the only soul option.
Who plays on Warlord IV? Everybody knows Hard and Warlord II are the best payout over time.

You want to play PVP and have it be a catch-all that gives you max Gold AND max Souls. This game has never worked that way, ever. Sorry.

It has been working that way just fine for months. Again, you aren’t understanding the fact that we don’t want max souls. We want the same amount we got before!! But now it takes longer to do so.
Look, the more you guys try to argue this, the more it validates the people like @efh313.
It plays out exactly like an entitlement issue.
The Devs, in response to feedback from the community, obviously thought it WASN’T working or they wouldn’t have changed it.

And there is the issue. You and others think she was nerfed because she was generating too much souls. According to the devs that’s not the case. She was nerfed because she was overwhelmingly popular.
AND THAT is the real argument. Not that she wasn’t overly popular; everyone agrees on that, but rather what the devs could have done to fix it. She didn’t need a nerf, the game needed other viable troops to compete with her. The devs did not do that. They simply made the game less enjoyable which is always, always a piss poor design decision. Why make your game less enjoyable when you have an opportunity to make it more enjoyable? And don’t try to sell me a bad of goods by saying the game is more enjoyable now; it’s not. Some people are enjoying using new teams because of the changes but those teams will not be enjoyable long term just like Valk wasn’t (though I’m guessing they will be fun for drastically less time than Valk was).

Im not using shit troops in any mode, for any resources, for the same reason I dont do treasure maps… it’s shit!

Also it was changed because of:
- Valk was used so much.
- Too easy to get souls, some hours in explore and you have 100K souls.
- Very broken and too overpowered, she is still pretty good and has tons of
troops to play with. Most Viable blue generator + souls in the game, still.

I’m saying people are complaining because she doesn’t generate the same amount of souls.
They nerfed her because she’s used too much. And we absolutely agree that she might be used too much because she’s a blue transformer, NOT because she was a soul generator.
Please show me a direct quote from a dev directly supporting your second and third points.
His 2nd post was too easy to get souls in explore?! Are you kidding me? So the logic was then let’s increase that amount by almost double?

I agreed with Maw, I didn’t agree with Manticore. Honestly, I’ve gotten so used to things changing in this game that I’ve given up getting worked up about nerfs OR buffs. They’re going to happen and I can’t change it.
So if the reason that she was used too much was because she was a blue transformer AND NOT because she was generating too many souls, wouldn’t a better solution by the devs have been to give us other blue transformers?
