If it’s Adana, the only acceptable outcome to me is a RoboCop analog.
Oh! The First dual-type troop! Human/Construct! Make it so!
Poor Ghulvania, poor Pan’s Vale…
Even combined, my two favorites don’t have a snowball’s chance in… Blighted Lands…
As an extension to my RoboCop idea, it shoots the enemy team. So damage randomly split, but it’s third Trait? 50% chance to recast the Spell when used
Seems like we are just voting for what we are given, and seeing as Adana is going to win anyway, I’ll vote for it.
I won’t see this any time soon, being a console player, but I guess I can sort of contribute.
Don’t know about that. I remember Adana had a huge lead yesterday and now it’s tied with Blighted Lands? Bring on The Infernal Queen?
I mean I guess? All I saw was talk about Adana though, so I assumed Adan would jump in the lead again.
Personally, I would have picked Pan’s Vale or maybe even Drifting Sands (even though I can’t play with cards from that kingdom yet), but like I said the choices are made for us so I picked one of the two other people wanted.
We have a djinn in the drifting sands but an aladdin character that summons it could not hurt.
You mean Drifting Sands i assume.
I’m beginning to think that people are just creating account so they can vote for blighted lands!
Seriously, why is nobody talking about this city, and what how is it getting so many votes?
It’s near the very bottom of places I would vote for as a city to get a new Troop, but if people were talking about it in here I might have more interest…
I agree – what’d be in Blighted Lands beyond Yet Another Legendary Daemon?
A deamon hunting Dwarf ?
Blighted Lands actually has more different troop types than Adana, while still being one troop short.
I suppose. I still think a Human Legendary would be good. The game has tons of Epic Humans, no Legendaries. But both Dwarves and Humans (and Elves, really) need some love.
It really is kind of funny that the traditional races are so underrepresented.
I think it’s the idea that the traditional races are made up mostly of the “common man.” It’s easy to envision a Daemon or a Divine as a Legendary, as they’re larger than life. “Elf” doesn’t speak “Legendary” as easily.
Let’s get people thinking about powerful “common man” people!
High elf archmage
Hierophant elven druid
Elrond
Seriously I think the system is being gamed somehow!
I think Tassarion is an example of the first (though he’s marked as Epic). We also have Legolas already as a Common. Hmm.
Many fantasy canons have dwarfs that highly specialize in the hunt and killing of certain very powerful creatures, mostly creatures that pose a threat to their society, so called Slayers.
Gorgotha messed up Khaziel, maybe it is time for payback and the dwarfs sent their strongest Deamon Slayer to fight the evil at its roots.
Or it could as well be a human Dragon hunter, from a city that was pillaged by demon hordes led by the corrupted Venbarak, and he has come to seek revenge for his fallen friends.
A fabled Orc Drake Rider might have come to the Blighted Lands to seek a more formidable Dragon Mount out of Venbaraks Flight for himself.
IIrc Venbarak and Dimetraxia were a couple before Venbaraks corruption, maybe they had an offspring that now is roaming in the Blighted Lands still fighting a fight his father lost long ago, against his own demons.
There are literally endless possibilities to make the new troop in Blighted Lands any troop type, remember it is our troop to design, it does not have to be a Daemon just because of its location.
Hm, as far as specialized “hunting-Dwarves” go, there is this crazy bastard… Personally I don’t think Legendaries should focus on taking out one particular troop type. With the exception of Bunni’nog, most of the specialized killers are Epic. That’s not to say we can’t have an awesome Dwarf, I’d just rather s/he be generally useful.
