3.2.5 Feedback and suggestions

  1. Old ui back.
  2. resources raised (chests drop really must be raised)
  3. summoning stones that can summon mythic/legendary troops
  4. Possibility to open 1 key for every chests
  5. No new ui until big bugs are fixed (defence troops in gw that can be set without problems, no gw loses if game crashes et similia, real random opponents in gw, real RNG in every battle and so on)

Devs, we don’t need unnecessary changes (for example about graphic), old graphic UI is quite perfect, please, concentrate your efforts on real players’ needs.

This is bad and you should feel bad. It’s telling when even the attempts at positive suggestions are revert, roll back or at least give options to disable as much new stuff as possible. It would be nice to have options to:

  • disable the fireworks
  • disable the sparkling
  • control the background / background transparency

Also:

  • +x to all stats trait completely hides the team at turn start
  • barrier… either a very faint overlay (with minor ripple at edges IF it helps visibility) or just revert
  • please hire a user experience specialist or listen to the one you might have

Edit: status animations are horrible and distracting. an option to disable those would be nice too

  1. Listen to your Playerbase they are the ones you are wanting money from
  2. Get rid of the BS Sparkle and Fireworks effect or make an option to turn them off- Hot Fix
  3. Get Dawnbreaker out of the Arena its over powered or allow people to make their own teams
  4. Fix bugs before changing all the UI again. you can change it all you want but what difference does it make if the bugs are still not fixed.

Lower ring of wonder to $10. Or revert it to 100% for everything. Deathknight armor is $50 and gives you 100% bonus FOREVER. ROW costs $20 and gives 50% for less than a month.

Terrible value. I was looking forward to this offer. I would have purchased it every four weeks if it was left at 100%

Particles: A simple guide

BEST: No sparkles in battle to stop distracting the player.

OKAY: Subtle sparkles, here done very right with the rotating colors around the card on the loading screen. Doesn’t hurt the eyes, is soft but visible. Devs, you obviously know how it’s done right. You did it here!

VERY, VERY BAD:

Bonus points to those who can name all my troops.

EK Valk Justice Mab.

(I sort-of “cheated”. I can see Mab and Valk, so I’m guessing based on team comp that the 3rd troop is Justice.)

Hehehe nope.:sunglasses: I’m a rebel and don’t use Justice in that team comp. Three of four is not bad, though - well, EK and Valk (with the spell title) are easy, though.

Staring at that yellow blotch is making my eyes go goofy, I think…but, Ysabelle? (Final guess as I don’t want to clog up the thread.)

That’s correct! And yeah, it really makes the eyes hurt, doesn’t it? Even when it’s not flashing but a static image.

The only thing I’ve been able to do is to click on my opponents troop, and bring it up, so I can see it without all the affects. It’s basically an unworkable workaround.

To answer your question, multiple affects basically make the troop blur out to where I can’t discern any useful information.

Bad thing that you can change your name yourself

I am on Xbox and have a curious question for the rest of the platforms.

If all four of you and your opponent troop had say, a burn status effect, would the status effect ANIMATION start at the same time for all 8 or not? On xbox, no and that’s the odd visual effect. Multiple the same flashy effects starting / stopping differently may be part of the problem.

PC user here and no, it doesn’t. Just tested it with burning at least all opponents.

You can see they’re all in different animation phases.
It should also be noted that I play on 4x speed and during gem matches, the burning animation (and any status effect animation, really) speeds up a lot, making everything even more weird since it’s not consistent in speed, either.
Also can’t see crap over burn, awesome. As if the numbers weren’t poorly readable for me in the first place. Hadn’t burned anyone since the update, won’t do it again.
Also there’s a small lag (though my PC is old) when mass status effects are applied.

Maybe ‘design a troop’ will be their lesson on how to submit changes to the players.

Remove Dawn Bringer from arena please. It’s over kill.

Please add an option to remove all these needless animations/fizzs/explosion/whatever, as many others said, all these “fireworks” are headache inducing (the more so when playing 4x).

Another update and another update to graphics, I don’t understand why the Cheating AI is not being fixed? AI gets 3 gem match and is rewarded 4 extra move that turns into 3 to 4 more moves. This makes the game more unbalanced to play. This past updates have been more like down grades, nerfed guild task rewards, nerfed troops. But keep jazzing up game graphics that give people a headache to try and play your unbalanced game. :expressionless:

Why is it so slow now? >_<

Overall, I’m OK with the update. I like that the UI is more consistent now and none of the changes seem particularly jarring to me. I’m not a fan of the colourful traits on troops, but I can learn to be OK with it. I can probably even get used to all the flashing on the battle screen now. My only issue with it is that it’s slower now. I don’t know why, I suspect it’s the new gem animations (sparkles? particle effects? fireworks? whatever we’re calling them). Especially when using exploders and playing on 4x speed, which is what I usually play with (on mobile, last year’s Pixel phone). Before the update, the game looked less than perfect when playing like that, but it was still fast. Now, there’s times when I can clearly see the gems disappearing, a faint coloured glow showing up in their place and then the explosion animations show up. And it seems to get worse the longer you play - after a half an hour of battles this morning, I couldn’t stand it anymore. If we could get an option to turn down the graphs effects, that would be nice.

-I am here to add to the dissent around the new particle effects. they are extremely distracting. Why would I want three different things going on when I get a mana surge?
-I’m also not a fan whatsoever of the new burning animation. Having it on the shield was perfect, now it covers up the health. Terrible.
-Please but the navigation buttons on the same side of the screen. It seems as though the in game settings, back, and X buttons flip flop between left and right upper corners. On larger screens it’s a pain to back out of a menu.
-Still no kingdom identifier on the troop cards? Why is that so hard to do?
-The chest screen is awful. It’s not instinctive. Should be at a glance, not having to scan through the difficult font would be nice.

That’s all I’ve got for now.
