I 100% agree we need more parties, the two party system is broken but that is exactly why most people felt they only had two choices.

Also, I respect your opinion but I disagree with this statement. Neither of them were good candidates either unless your ideology specifically aligned with theirs, which mine does not; they might have been more appealing than Hillary or Trump to some but probably not to most people.

He has plans to COMPLETELY OVERHAUL the government. (In my opinion the government has become to much of a burden on the average worker with regulations, forced heathcare and other policies that make middle class people work pay check to pay check)

He has plans to help Secure our nation i.e. Securing Our Borders, Temporarily Blocking immigrants from Terrorist countries, and potentially ridding ourselves of ISIS with whatever costs it may take

He has plans to Lower my Taxes (I feel that if I’m working 40 hours a week, I should be able to survive in a modest house, vehicle etc… right now after all taxes, healthcare and other costs… I live paycheck to paycheck with a middle class job)

He has plans to entice new businesses to move back or move to and/or invest more in our country due to the lowered corporate tax rates. This shall create new jobs, boost our economy and eventually have our GDP above 4% again. During Obama, his average GDP was around 1% and our inflation was around 3-4%, that means our wages are not increasing at the rates of the costs. We need that extra money in our economy to create those jobs.

#DrainTheSwamp - This is needed… we must rid ourselves of the Selfish “Politicians” whom aren’t doing what WE THE PEOPLE want, but instead are doing what their special interests want. We need to remove the money influence from government, and WE THE PEOPLE need to do a better job with electing our representatives. I believe Trump will clean house, investigate those whom profited from our losses while not doing whats in our countries best interests.

Supreme Court Justices - This is very important to keep our constitution in place, if people really feel that America is not the country they want… Feel free to move to another country that more aligns with your Values. If you want Socialism, there are plenty of countries that have it and are failing. We have succeeded for a couple hundred years and escaped socialism/communism and we should not be undoing what our forefathers fought so hard for. So many lives were given up for our freedoms, we need to start teaching our children why they are free, most people think were free without all the sacrifices, if we never sacrificed we would not be the country we are today.
I know there are more, but this is a long post already… I could care less about locker room talk, care less about what he said 20 years ago, I can see he truly cares about the American people and is going to do what is right for our country.
Why I could not vote for Hillary

She has a double standard around her, she should have been indicted and in prison years ago. If Obama, our FBI, DOJ and others actually did their job, the people might have elected someone different than Trump. Because Hillary would not have been one of our candidates.

When I hear her speak, I cannot believe most of what she says. She has proven time and time again, she will say 1 thing and then do another behind your back. She has even said this in Speeches to Large Corporations/Banks.

Obamacare (ACA) - I know she planned to double down on this, this was great for the people on welfare or low income, but it was devastating on those small businesses and middle class workers whom created jobs for those low income people. This has severely destroyed many economies in small towns across our nation. Not much change was seen in large metro areas. As the vote seemed to reflect that, smaller towns or suburbs were more likely to vote for Trump than Clinton. Large Cities and Metro areas where more apt to vote for Clinton.

She was part of the middle east and all the policies that have FAILED. We are worse off now with the middle east than we were Pre-Bush. Her years at Secretary of State was terrible for our country.

She become a multi-millionaire without ever owning a company, developing a product, inventing a new idea, or anything that could potentially make that money. If “Speaking” to someone is worth hundreds of millions while “policies” happen to coincide with the corporations that paid for her/bill to speak. We have problems. Our government officials are supposed to be working for US! The american people, Not the large corporations, not the special interests and for surely not Foreign Governments.

She was extremely careless with classified information (These words came from FBI Director James Comey). The only reason she was not indicted was because of Loretta Lynch and Obama. They were against her getting indicted because Obama could potentially be linked to Hillary’s Email Server. He had to have known about it, if he didn’t… then I’m even more worried about how clueless the people we elected are. I’m sure he had tech people who had to have said something to him, and/or just basic common sense about domains of the emails.

For a woman who is supposedly for Children and Women’s Rights, she accepts money from Foreign countries which treat women and children as 2nd class citizens, even promotes raping and beating of wives. If she truly cared about these issues, she would disassociate herself with them, attempt to change/fix those places and stop wanting to bring refugees in that do not align with traditional American values.
I’m sure I can continue this about Hillary, If she had a better tract record, less lies, more proven results… I do feel she could have been our next president. But when people of her party are pardoning Felons to get extra votes, I feel they are doing whats best for them, not what is best for our country. America First!

I am not hateful. I do not think that anyone that isn’t white is worth less. And a lot of things have been blown out of proportion and exaggerated.

He has plans to dissolve the parts of the government that make sure our air is breathable, our water is drinkable, our children are educated, and our workers are safe. Pretty much all the safety nets that ensure our health and protection.
No, he has sound bites and platitudes, but no actual plan. The specific things he’s proposed range from wildly improbable to insane unaffordable to utterly impossible.
He flat-out lied about this one. When they were actually dug down into, his tax proposals were found to save money for millionaires and billionaires by taking money away from lower- and middle-class families. Basically, all of Trump’s tax policies are specifically written to benefit Trump at everyone else’s expense.
No, he’s simply said over and over again that businesses will magically move back “because they will”. He’s never given an actual plan (see a theme here?). Also, our corporate tax rates are already low: the marginal rate is high, but that’s completely irrelevant - the actual corporate tax rate is around the middle of the pack compared to the rest of the world.
Except he filled his transition team with special interest lobbyists and corporate lobbyists. The plan he’s laid out is specifically to let corporate interests choose his cabinet for him. Again, when he said otherwise he was lying through his teeth.
Unlikely - the Republicans have blocked every single veterans’ care bill for almost a decade now. The Democrats keep trying and trying to take care of our veterans, but the Republicans refuse to spend any money on them.

I have my own speculations, and they do not align with yours.
I’m not speculating; I’m quoting back the things he’s said and correcting factual errors. For instance, no matter what he said and no matter what opinions anyone holds on the matter, the US corporate tax rate just isn’t the highest in the world, or close to the highest, or even anywhere in the top.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions; no one is entitled to their own facts.

Hillary made quite a number of mistakes this election. One of the biggest had to be her alt-right speech, where she called the apparent majority of the country deplorable. Americans are tired of political correctness and “tolerant left” calling us this and that. I’ve come to know many Trump supporters this year, and they are most kind and accepting.
I voted for Trump because I am interested in starting my own business in the future, and he wants to lessen regulations and taxes that kill small business.

Starting your own small business is awesome but just be aware, regulations and taxes don’t kill healthy businesses. If someone’s business dies due to taxation, they’re doing something very wrong and probably aren’t cut out to be a business owner.

Having to get several $X,000 permits before you can open the door makes it even more difficult to get a business started. It’s worse when the cost of the permits exceed the potential profits. For example, these children needing a couple $180 permits to open a lemonade stand that they might make $20 from. 3 girls busted for illegal lemonade stand
You do know that that was a ridiculous fringe case which the police were nigh-universally excoriated for, yes? If your best argument against government regulation of businesses is “some idiots once yelled at kids about their lemonade stand” then I invite you to read Upton Sinclair and reconsider your position.
