To all American people: who are you gonna vote for?

As if Putin cared about terrorism…

Isis was running rampant in Syria until russia started coordinating attacks with Assad. Assad is no saint, and neither is putin. but the alternative is isis. moderate Syrian rebels is a myth.

Americans are just fed up with the status quo.

We got so tired of politicians blocking each other and not working that we forgot to kick out those who were not working.

The National Enquirer was the only paper to endorse Trump.

fun fact, the house was filled with republicans and we had a democrat as a president. Pretty sure both sides said the government was terrible.

I wasn’t bashing anyone or their opinion. But many of the votes for him are in fact nothing but a protest against the perceived “Establishment” when in reality he is a part of just that and has been his whole life.
So if your vote’s objective was to protest the Establishment, then you drank the coolade.
If your vote’s objective was to get a nice great wall built to keep immigrants out, then i am afraid i have to tell you, this is not going to happen.
There might be good reasons for voting Trump, i havn’t heard any yet, but there might be, regardless most people did not vote for him for those particular reasons.

Can we at least stop complaining about the 2 candidates? We the people voted them in. There was a primary, like all years. We could have voted Sanders v Cruz. Would the country be spitting such venom if those were the 2 choices? Me thinks not. WE PUT THEM THERE and then wanted to complain about the choices. We the people are idiots.

Sure, we could if what you said was actually factual but it’s not. You are completely ignoring the power of the two party system to pick who is nominated. Most of the American people (especially on the democratic side) had no say in who was nominated because it was decided by the parties before that had a chance to vote and thus many were left with a candidate choice they didn’t want and weren’t inspired by.

And I’m not even talking about the collusion between the DNC and the Hillary camp. That’s a whole other mess.

People still voted for hillary. The Republicans tried to stick people with Jeb Bush. They spent tens of millions campaigning for him and he never got above 5%.

Most people, when told they must choose between only two options, will pick one of the two. That doesn’t change or negate anything I wrote.

I’m not north-american, but talking about the results of this election with friends from other games and such i was pointed to an article that you may find interesting: How Half Of America Lost Its F**king Mind | Cracked.com

In the overall seems pretty spot on about the reasons of Trump’s, inevitable, victory from a neutral perspective explaining why people voted so massively on him.

I appreciate the article but I wasn’t actually speaking about Trump; I was speaking more about Hillary.

I understand, but considering the points made in the article it seemed inevitable in some sense that he would win even against better candidates.

I don’t doubt that Trump would have had a good chance again most other candidates but, at least in my opinion, Bernie was not most other candidates and had the ability to reach far more people that Trump. Unfortunately, we’ll never know for sure now because the DNC and Clinton machine robbed him (and us) of that opportunity.

just want to clarify someplace… va is funded by congress - not the president. congress is republican…

I have many many vets in my family and most are disabled/deceased from service. so these next observations are from a personal expeirience only. It really depends on what part of the country you are in as to how well your service is. In oklahoma - it is terrible, both my grandfathers died recently and its partly because of the VA. Vets in oklahoma are treated like $#!T. in montana - the VA service is a lot better (my brother in law - is getting a lot more help than my grandfathers ever did) and Vets here are well respected.

i think back east - you get bad treatment, north central the best, and the south the absolute worse treatment.

In Oregon, we voted extra money to our vets via the state lottery. My only surprise was the 16% that said no? Wtf is wrong with you? Vets! Holy Crap, 16%
