Hate when this happensā¦ Then you have to waste 30 gems just for 1 battle.
Mine was even closer! I beat the common room on the way to the legendary rooms - maybe you beat the rare one instead?

Since they changed the delve scoring system, has anyone been able to complete the event without spending gems, or get 3 valravens from the free sigils?

Happened once, third raven is kinda close to that number of battles, usually get it on first battles of the extra run, once tho happened i didnt got any raven on extra run either.
Ps: anyway i wouldnt call it spending gems, with just 30 gems usually am in the board so am actually gaining more than i spent.
2 weeks ago I went 400-2 in ranked PvP.
This week, using the exact same teams. Iām 100-5.
Thanks to crap like thisā¦

Do you play on console? Because on steam/mobile most of the time level 110 is not enough to make leaderboard

Lately Iām frustrated that the opponent is even allowed to get extra turns by matching 4-5.
Sometimes I feel like it takes ages and even when I upped the matching speed (I still want to see what happens in my turn though, so I have to compromise) Iām very impatient when the opponent has its turn.
This, dang it. Didnāt it used to be true you could finish a faction event on the free sigils?

You definitely could. I even managed to be on the leaderboard for the first two or three events because of itāI suspect I no longer make it because there are people spending gems where l donāt, and that these people maybe didnāt play as hard when they could finish the event for free and be done with it.
Now that people are buying sigils, they feel compelled to maximize those sigilsā value by playing harder.
If I remember right, heās the one replied to an earlier post of mine this - Offense teams are super secretive. Right @awryan?

You have about 11 gold there. So, certainly not a Greed based team. 
Last new Delve I had THREE consecutive hoard upgrade attempts at 95% (good odds right?) that FAILED to upgrade quality level! Still maxed of course but cost me much more in resources and moolah than necessary.
