Event System Improvements

So, as a lot of late-to-end-game players agree, the meta is getting stale. It can be annoying and frustrating to see the same troops over and over and over again. When event system was first proposed I had mistakenly thought that it would help fix this problem. Only one week in I realize that it’s a bit different than I had thought it would be. My idea to help fix the meta is to make one event (hopefully add one rather than take one of the four we have currently) specifically for defense. Now…

Of course, there is another option… don’t touch PvP at all and add another PvE option.

A combination Explore + Arena, call it Plunder, where you fight 8 matches against randomized kingdom based matches but each match gets a progressing stat bonus and the 8th match being a special built kingdom-centric match (1, 1, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.0, 3.0, 3.0). The final fight should be devastatingly difficult.

Poking at an old thread, here, obviously, but I thought it was interesting - did somebody take this idea and turn it into Pet Battles? I mean, it’s not impossible or entirely unreasonable to suggest that people came up with similar ideas separately, especially given the existing 8 battle setup with Arena - but I thought other aspects seemed a little uncanny .
