yeah AI is stupid. seen troops like aziris spawn skull away from a 3 match. or prismatic producing for other team 
Oops. Sorry. It’s just that I’ve never had an issue with the matching in pvp. I enjoyed playing against Mr. Sammy or DHJL. At level 200 it certainly was a challenge but I still played them. Sometimes for a win and some a loss. Level 586 now and can pick between a few teams to combat their crazy powerful defense teams. So I went the helpful way instead of hopping on the bandwagon. 
have killed mr. Sammy many times. still my highest gold reward per a pvp from him. gota love him

Mr. Sammy is a Legend, iirc he was the first player to level 1000. I never have faced one of his teams, due to being in the same guild.
didn’t know he was one of the first. just seemed to have more cash than most
would never beat him in real player vs. player only get win from him because dumb AI

My strongest card is an Ultra-Rare… Well, a Mythic Ultra-Rare to be precise.

No change, actually. I’ve been using the same team since 1.0.8.
And I know it by heart, from the countless times that you have invaded me and stole my gold!!!

@MrSammy was level 1000 way before there was any way to pay even progress faster.
Mr Sammy played 37 hours/day for the first three months. Easy peasy.
thought you changed your team for a bit. but maybe my mistake. many of the high lvl’s have
eeesh I can’t even function on that little of sleep
really only fought Dhjl cpl times Mr. Sammy I get a lot. and have fought dozens of times. actually in last 10-15 minutes pulled him
edit. had a base of near 2100 gold to which worked out to a over 7k win why I love him

@Macawi, a legend? Maybe not, but I was the first to become a topped player (i.e. Level 1000), a few month before anyone else…
In honor of that, sometime people talk about reaching a half-Sammy or a full-Sammy…

@dhjl maybe I over dramatize but it is still a tough team to beat at times. Have to pick the right team to go against your’s. Mr. Sammy’s too. And as others have said you two give a very healthy amount of gold as reward. Thanks to both of ya. 
Speaking as a level 250-something player, I like getting PVP opponents who are much higher level. The fights usually aren’t much harder than they would be against someone my level***. And the rewards are usually much better. So there is at least one person who is perfectly content with the matchmaking system as it currently stands.
*** There are exceptions, of course. Whoever ran the 3x Celestatia + Dust Devil team is one. dhjl’s all Stoneskin team isn’t much harder, though the fight does take longer.
