Now you can play with Dragon Soul at least, instead!
This is what I want.
In an ideal world, battles would give a reasonable amount of souls.
There would also be troops similar to Valkyrie and Dragon Soul.
Since there is a cap of 40 per battle (then add bonuses), I think it would be fair for someone that doesn’t use a troop for soul farming to receive 20-30 souls. It would still be worthwhile to use a troop for soul farming, but it wouldn’t feel mandatory. If you got bored of your soul farming team it wouldn’t feel like a horrible thing to switch it up with something new.
As it is for me right now, there are several teams I like but I just can’t use them because then I’d be getting like 10 souls per battle (or less) rather than 80ish. That makes a huge difference. We shouldn’t be penalized simply because We want to try out the other troops that devs make for us.
Even something as simple as the previously mentioned increased reward based on rarity would be good.
Common/Rare - 1
UltraRare/Epic - 2
Legendary - 3
Mythic - 4
Fighting a group of 3 mythics and a legendary would get 15 instead of 4 (before bonuses from armor/guild). Would make Necromancy much more useful (in this case adding 7 instead of 2). And if you fight a summoner, Gorgotha, or Infernal King you could rake in a fair bit for a regular match.
