Congratulations to t0nerz, the latest #1 PvP BOT killer!

Okay, give me a reason for having 2x the amount of invades than the other competitors, and why anyone would consistently pick the 1 or 2 trophy fight. The possibility of it being multiple ppl on the same account just keeps going down. ALEX on the other end, went on a consecutive 200+ loss streak. Where is the logic?

Why don’t you send a PM to the Devs?

Because I don’t have anything to add to the many that have probably been sent.
The only reason some botters are being caught is for completing the battles too fast (my suspicion)
I understand the devs not being able to ban without proof. I understand the no call-outs policy. But it has reached the point where we could be going you-know-who, and everyone would know.

After seeing the crushing toll it’s taken on those that I know for a fact are actual people going for #1 legitimately for just one week, I’ve decided that it really doesn’t matter if it’s bots or not. Either way, bots or not, to do this week after week, month after month is just pathetic and sad.

The answer is time. Sister has had a week to play and chances are this is their “meaningful” way to spend their time. She might be one person and is playing 8-16 hours a day. I did math for @dhjl’s defence where i beleive i did a reasonable job of proving that human can pull of such numbers. As far as Alex (i do not even know which alex to @ at as there are so many of them) losing streaks are not too uncommon and yes they are losing a lot but the question is not why but how? The ai is programmed to give the player an advantage and yet he is still losing, if it were a bot then it would have to be programmed to lose on purpose, which for a bot creator would be a horrible idea. Why would you programme a bot to loss for you? Also you forget he also had a 4k win streak and his 200 losses this week do not look very consecutive. From what i can tell he has had a very bad week. 200 defence losses and 200 invade loses. [quote=“Scala, post:104, topic:13338”]
pick the 1 or 2 trophy fight.

Easy battle, means quick battle. Quicker battle means faster game wins/loses. I am rounding numbers for the sake of convenience. Sister has has 2600 battles this week. 2600/days spent. 371 battles a day. Considering i can do 100 maps a day, 300-400 battles should be no problem for anyone given that line of reasoning considering how long it takes to finish a map. If say a player spends 8-16 hours playing which is vary likely (some of us only need 2-6 hours of sleep.) then 371/16 or 371/8. which is 23 games an hour for 16 hours or double that to 46 games an hour if done in 8 hours. If you are doing it on the easiest difficulty with an aoe team then the battles+load times would not interfere with how quickly you win battles. That means she has to complete a battle every 3 minutes to pull off her numbers, which is extremely likely given the 16 hours a day spent. Knowing games can range from 1-4 minutes sister can pull off her numbers without using a bot, and is probably using a “distraction method” so she does not get board.

Get your facts straight. dhjl was not beaten on any single week since PvP leaderboards came out, except for the week he took a break and did not appear in the leaderboards, and the following week when he left the game mid week and ended up at #10.

There was not much of a rivalry either, as Sister was not consistently placed second or anything of the sort. The only thing to note is the second week, when Sister actively tried to surpass dhjl and expressed that intention using guild names, but that was it (and even that was pretty one-sided).

Do you have evidence to back-up the claim that sister was not having a rivalry? the numbers they put up and how close their pvp scores were looked like a rivalry to me. From what i could search, it looked like a rivalry between them, even if one-sided.

Sister might have had a rivalry with dhjl. But it was one-sided.
As yonizaf said, dhjl has never been beaten when he was playing, except when he took a week off.

I was in dhjl’s guild during that time, and I did not get the impression that he took Sister for a rival (though he did have a laugh on the guild names thing). I also have a record of every single week dhjl appeared on the leaderboards, and Sister came second in less than half of them (and even when she did, they weren’t always close on points). That doesn’t look like much of a rivalry to me.

Its very likely that someone would spend 16 hours a day playing? Upon what do you base this claim?

And further who is this ‘us’ you speak of that includes those who only need to sleep 2 hours a day?

And finally how is it extremely likely that she could complete a battle every 3 minutes given that she plays for 16 hours? How does how long she play influence the length of the battles she fights?

Bots break.

He had the majority of those losses in one afternoon, I believe he was close to 7-200 then.

Except, she isn’t getting an absurd amount of wins per hour, but instead playing possibly 18h+ a day. Not to mention, 1 trophy battles really aren’t that faster.
Edit: Will add that these players have been putting these numbers for many consecutive weeks, while every person that decided to get #1 pvp, immideately burned out the next week.

As it appears I will end up falling well short of what is mathematically possible this week, l’d like to extend another belated congrats to t0nerz on his accomplishment!

Maybe he made a mistake with his bot which did crap for few hours… Apparently he lose all his battles in one-go. Difficult battles seems too difficult for botting.
When Anonymous was suspected of cheating, devs said that this guild was okay. But they didn’t say anything about these two players… These rumors about cheating of the 2 of the 3 top players are not good for PVP: players are going to.stop to aim for the 1st seat…

That’s too bad, Brakkish. I was rooting for you!

I started the week aiming for 1,000 wins, but real life priorities slowed down my pace. Still set a personal record though, so I’m happy. :relaxed:

Yes if they are a N.E.E.T., Have you never seen a 24 hour stream? Now imagine that a person needs 8 hours of sleep, but that change are our age changes, and the average person gets 6, or so some commercials lead us to beleive. [quote=“Saluki, post:113, topic:13338”]

This is to prove that not only can a human pull off such high numbers but that they have plenty of time in those 16 hours to do it. If they use only easy battles then the time to complete those battles are closer to 1-minute, whereas with hard battles it would be closer to 4 minutes. We have seen tacet in video do a one-minute battle. [quote=“Scala, post:114, topic:13338”]

You have not gone against a level 50 or below on easy?

i wonder how do those top feel like now that the servers are not working properly…

edit: i think all the bots are still tring to play and loosing the points badly, the leaderboards doesnt even show the usuall top

The bots finally got trolled by server issues :joy:

Ninja edit: I’ve heard Sister has spoken on chat and said everything works fine for him

eh, it’s not about “programming a bot to lose for you”, it’s about running the bot with the wrong team chosen … that’s how you get a 200-loss streak. That’s how SilverSurfer went down (one of the reasons anyway).

I do hope every single person complaining so loud about bots took 3 min to write down their thoughts/theories/“proofs” and pm them to Sirrian, that’s what I did back when SilverSurfer and his 2 alts were botting the ladder (with the math and screenshots supporting my theory). I’ve been exchanging pm’s with Sirrian about it for a week while Rhino was boasting about how AWESOME pvp numbers were happening and how everyone else was owned. Days before anyone pointed a finger at the botter heh.

I’m just saying, what’s happening in here serves no other purpose than cheap entertainment. If it’s a bot - it’s a good one, since it was not banned yet and lets hope it won’t stay this way for much longer. If it’s just a big family or bunch of friends sharing an account - kudos, if that’s how they enjoy the game - why not, in the end the weekly ladder is rather meaningless.

(personally I’d be all for a pvp-mode where you have for example an hour to play games and it’d somehow quantify the results to show how “fast” or “good” you can play, rather than who will give up on more of his/her life this week. But even there - it’d depend on the rng a lot - which enemies you roll etc. It’s just a lost cause in a game like this to create a “fair” ladder environment).
