Aren’t world events supposed to be restricted to troops and weapons from the kingdom of the week?
They made World Events more variable. Supposed to make things more exciting.
For me, so far, all it’s done is highlight how broken/misguided/ill-designed the “troop roles” are 
At least this time for the first time, though, we don’t have to fight fire with fire—orcs with orcs, bright forest with bright forest, etc…

Plenty mythic options though so it’s not all bad given the event medal.
