To be specific, with a 225% gold bonus (as shown when on normal difficulty) applied to a pvp match worth 1007, should i receive 2266 gold, or 3273?
In the 22xx range. I just ran 3 quick PvP battles with 225% bonus each was worth 1012 at the selection screen. Post Battle Results 2,300, 2297, and 2309.

Ok, thanks @Strat. So it’s not a 225% ‘bonus’ on top of base amount. When starting a new account, ‘bonuses’ read 100% then?

Yeah, 100% is base. 300% would mean you get 3x the base amount. Ranked pvp does not give you a difficulty bonus, even though you might see it added to your character % on the world map.
