What are some of your favorite and/or least favorite movies of the year & why?
My favorite films of the year: Logan (I hope this goes down as the greatest superhero film ever since The Dark Knight or even The Avengers)
Kong Skull Island (for a reboot, this one was surprisingly fun and memorable)
John Wick Chapter 2 (excellent action film sequel, nuff said)
Get Out (not bad for a horror film, surprisingly original too)
War for the Planet of the Apes (the best yet in the franchise, end of story)
My least favorite films of the year: The Mummy 2017 (another crappy unneeded reboot)
Transformers The Last Knight (this one is so bad that I hope Michael Bay would just end the dying Transformers film series)
Leatherface (this movie may be a prime example of why I was almost never a fan of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, ugh!)
Geostorm (so-so performances, bad CGI effects, a boring storyline, what else that needs to be said?)
The Emoji Movie (one of the worst animated movies I’ve seen in my life, it’s up there with Foodfight and Happily N’ever After)
