I work in online customer support for a gambling site.
It’s always too early for alcohol, but never too late for coffee. =)

What about coffee and alcohol? I’ve always enjoyed coffee and Baileys.
There’s a lot of cool professions already! I have previously worked as a barista, a bank teller, and a music teacher, and someday I may also be a piano tuner. Life takes you crazy places sometimes!
@kanevan, is it a pub dedicated to board games and/or nerd culture, or just happens to be a good place for it? I’m starting to see nerd bars pop up and I think it’s a really great idea. Who doesn’t want to have a Spiked Butterbeer while playing Catan with Doctor Who playing on the tvs on the wall? Wouldn’t that be the greatest place to pick someone up or make new friends?
A Supernatural themed bar would be awesome. Think of all the monster themed drinks, Dean’s burgers, Sam’s salads and smoothies, etc…
It is dedicated to board games. You come here, most of the time people don’t know anything about board games so we are to choose the best games for them. We explain the rules and they can enjoy playing while drinking something.
(PS : sorry about my english)
I love Mocha, too bad that don’t like me. Unfortunately Coffee makes me feel sick so I have to go coffee free (which in games development is really weird).
My preferred alcohol is a nice Tawny Port. I used I make cocktails but not so much these days.
I work for a textile reclamation and recycling company in sales.
What does that mean? I keep thinking it’s a super fancy way of saying I work at Goodwill.
A lot of high education careers in this list. And me just a lowly auto mechanic. Getting dirty to make my pay. Kind of jealous. Just wasn’t much of a school fan.
Mechanics make solid money, have great job security, and it’s an honest living. Nothing to be ashamed of!
Oh, I’m in marketing.
Oh not ashamed just a bit jealous. I figured out of all the careers out there that two were a guarantee. Mechanic and Accountant. We will always need someone to fix our cars and we will always need someone to count our money. Mechanic was where I landed. It has been good but after 15 years of it - I don’t like it anymore. Now I’m too old to change.
We have weekly boardgame nights in a pub in my city, not much chance of picking someone up if you’re male though, the very few women there are tend to get snapped up quickly.
People like you are also needed. Where would we be without mechanics?
Anyways, I’m still studying in University, but I hope to become a software designer one day.
@collectorofgems I wish I lived in your area, because a good auto mechanic is worth his weight in gold.
Thanks for the support guys. Not necessary but appreciated. It is very hard for the shops around my area to get good techs because of how secluded we are and that leads to a lot of job security. I don’t have to worry about having my job anyway. Definate good thing. In the end I probably dream about winning the lottery so I can retire just as much as anyone else.
I think, at the end of the day, 99% of people are just doing a job and would rather be not working. I genuinely like what I do and rarely have bad days yet I’d rather be independently wealthy and able to travel the world for a few years and work at my leisure
I keep getting told off for not taking enough holidays. I enjoy what I do (the good and the bad). Though it helps that my job overlaps with my hobbies.
Clearly you can’t be trusted with your boss watching everything you write!
I’m a hit man for a large corporation.
Nah, I’m Canadian, so I don’t even own a gun!
I’m an IT Leader, specializing in Data Management, for a large banking institute.
When I’m not working, I’m a full time dad and husband.
I suffer from mild insomnia, giving some extra time to play GoW while listening to audio book or watching Tv.
Now why have I never thought of that!
I mastered being able to exercise on an eliptical machine and play GoW simultaneously. Sweaty endeavor but it works!
