(!) Spoiler Alert (!) -- [Any Details Provided are Subject to Change] (Part 1)

You forget to add his Magic points  (did the same before).
So it’s Damage=Magic+1+Armor/2 → 46 points.

Right you are, so throw on 12 (4 Base + 8 Kingdom) more magic/damage. In which case, he’s quite powerful.
Bombots would still be far superior for farming, but I guess PvP-wise, the new guy’s reliability gots them beat.

And +2 from guild bonus, and +1 because it’s magic+1.

Please remember that until he is released, nothing is final.

Mercy
Hellcat
Alchemist
Gard

Mercy kickstarts yellow generation, Hellcat and Alchemist loop back and forth, with each cast building up Gard’s armor from 3rd trait while Cat does a little random damage. When enough spillover red and yellow get through, Gard goes Boom. Repeat as needed.

Even, his awesome picture? :worried:

His 2nd trait seems not appropriate because this trait is mainly useful when the troop is at the 1st position.
I don’t think anyone when to do that because of his spell…
Of course, it’s a good one and this trait fits this troop but what about something more useful?

Um. Stoneskin? He can be in first now. Very few things more useful than Stoneskin. Maybe Huge or Link traits… Empowered obviously…

Impervious :stuck_out_tongue: .

I think, i know, this team i can not use because i will not be able to get gard, without a lot of luck.

Oh. Duh…

Hmmm… as drafted it’s over-powered as frick… but yet wouldn’t be a pain to play against - high mana cost and would be mana-blocked by the things that feed it… giving it impervious would be a mistake though…

Fun to use, easy to beat - might be okay. For the sake of balance, those ratios need tweaking down a bit though. Far too easy to gain armour from other troops’ spells.

oh no, i already waaaant this mythic… (please keep its damage boosted by armor :p)

Bombot has the same boost ratio from armor with full AoE but suicides on cast, while Rowanne gets 4x the boost ratio on split damage.

I’d say Rowanne actually has a better damage output from armor boosting, because 100 split damage is only equal to 25 AoE damage when there are 4 enemy troops that each have at least 25 health + armor. Once troops start getting taken out, AoE loses effectiveness.

Yeah he isnt overpowered but he does look fun. Dont nerf fun.

Stoneskin is irrelevant when your weakness is true damage. Putting him in first place, even with stoneskin, will only weaken his cast.

gard does a minumum of his magic damage +2 to all troop, even with no armor at beginning of cast because he gains 4 armor in the process. with the above team of mercy/hellcat/alchemist/gard he is likely to be doing over 200 damage per cast…Nothing, including famine can touch that kind of op. Oh and it silences bone dragon, one of its best counters.

Another mythic that is completely and utterly op that I will never likely get. There are already too many mythics, and considering their stupid drop rate its amazing anyone can get the one they want…

Sigh…

When is nintendo going to get some console love?

Stone skin does puzzle me. It feels like a wasted trait on a Mythic card. I’m just curious why the devs chose stone skin. The other design choices for this troop scream “protect me, squire!” (Put in third or forth slot) but his trait says “hang me out to dry” (put in first slot)

Perhaps it’s just a precaution in case the battle ever degrades far enough to need it?

I like having the option of either playstyle.

Gloom Leaf can be really nasty in the 4th slot and left to bulk up

Putting a troop with 3 colores and a spell which is based on it’s armor up front is not another playstyle, it is a mistake.

True, apart from War.

The idea of putting this new mythic in first position is quite humorous
