I saw parrot and thought, ‘gw troop’.
They’ve been on the site for awhile. Until they upload a set of skills for each troop and have had time to balance them a few times, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Okay, I’m obviously a dumbbutt who scrolled only down until the troops with listed skills and traits ended and not until the very end. Whoops. You’re totally right; these look like GW troops.
Still, them having not full info makes them appearing next cycle unlikely, I think.
Could they be new guild chest troops? A lot more people have had all those at mythic for ages now.

Don’t take my word for it, but I read somewhere that the current GW troops are supposed to be put into the chests together with the guardians and function the same way (drop until 4x mythic for all of them) while new troops are placed in GW.
…I might be totally wrong, though.

I think the plan is to move the old GW reward troops into Guild chests once the new ones are released, so they will essentially take the place of the Guardians in chests until you have them 4x mythic as well.

Also: I’m not sure what will happen for someone who has neither the Guild Guardians nor the GW troops 4x mythic. I guess you’ll have 12 troops in the 50% guild chest pool until one set or the other is completed.

I suspect that will be the case. I don’t think removing the guardians is something they would do - I sure need a lot of them still - and I definitely hope that the droprate of guardians/new-chest-troops will be increased even more. Because damn, I just want to be done with them already and use the guild chests for actually getting good stuff.

Agreed. I’m in a relatively good position - I have my Guardians 4x mythic and by being in a bracket 3 (on average) guild for the entire time, have most of my GW troops down to needing 70-110 more copies to get them to mythic. However, even in my relatively good position, that means opening about 1000 guild chests at a 50% drop rate, assuming a relatively even or favorable distribution. That’s 4 months of guild chests at 1500 seals per week. I don’t want to think about what that would come out to for someone in a less privileged position. In short, I’m hoping we get another round or two out of the existing troops before they introduce the new ones. In any case, I think I’ll start saving up my seals now instead of opening them for long-odds chances of getting mythics.

I just hope they don’t do same spell then old gw troop cause it will be useless
No choice to keep the +5 stats to same color but the spell need something different
From what devs said last time (so ages ago), you would have the Guardians and not the GW troops in the guild chest. When you have all the Guardians 4xMythic, they will be replaced by GW troops 1st season.
For spells of the GW troop, @Nimhain said that she wasn’t satisfied with their spell and so on, was working on it. It was 2 months ago. I was hoping for some news about them…

So for someone like me who has all guild guardians and all gw troops at x4 Mythic it doesn’t matter if I save or spend my guild seals now? I would really like some confirmation on 2 points.

I don’t see why you would need to spend every seals now? You can keep them
And try to get any exclusive mythic, it will give you more chance

It could when the next set of GW troops will be added in the guild chests… In 8 months-1 year. 
Devs never talked about that. It could, but I doubt.
Surely as GW troops were told to work exactly as guardians but we never have the confirmation about that.

It’s unlikely, they were initially supposed to play a much larger role in Guild Wars, the idea was abandoned though.

Third trait is nice…but it also makes the cleanse in the ability somewhat redundant. Hopefully the trait stays, but the cleanse in the ability changes to something else.
