It seems the new kingdom troop available for glory on Jan. 29 will be a Brown/Purple troop…
We already get 2 of them in the last 2 months, could we have another troop from the new kingdom?
Did the release schedule changed again? Was expecting Hellspawn as a yellow/brown troop for release on that day.
edit: Oh Florian is being released on that day as well? (I’m behind the times)
New kingdom Fri maybe? That might mess up the schedule.

Not sure if we will have the opportunity to buy Shocktopus with glory…
I’m gonna lose my mind if they throw another low-rarity card into chests with no opportunity to acquire for glory and no kingdom event in the foreseeable future. I finally got Cygnea and Spinerette last week, but who knows when I’ll ever get Sol’Zara now. I can’t even try with Summoning Stones now.

- the 2 troops are coming from 2 different kingdoms (never happened)
- Shocktopus is coming from the Design-a-troop project so he’s good candidate to be a gifted Epic troop
So that’s why I think we will not have him in the shop…
Yeah I know it’s this kind of troops which is difficult to ascend. But at least it gives a reason to use our keys

On console, we had “bonus troops” many times as we were catching up to PC/Mobile. so they could do the same kind of thing there: have an Urkskaya event plus Shocktopus in the shop for glory.
You’re probably right about Shocktopus being a good candidate for a gift troop, and I could live with that. I don’t need to ascend him right away - I just want to check him off the list when he releases. If I can buy the stones to trait him, so much the better.

This is my exact way of thinking. Sorry devs. No, the single free Ice Golem (and every other such troop) most assuredly preyed on my mind while I waited for a worthier target to open chests for to ascend things.
(Remember the absurd amount of applause that ensued when Necrezza was put up for Glory? This is why.)

I’m betting Shocktopus will be available for glory along with the Mammoth this coming Monday.
This week we will finish the 6th cycle of GW troops. So will we get the new GW troops next week? Or another cycle?

I didn’t see anything that could possibly be a set of GW troops on Taran’s site. So I expect another cycle (and hey, since my GW troops are all just UR, I’m personally not complaining, but I understand that the rest of you wants new stuff).
The 6 last troops on Taran’s site are the next GW troops (cocoon, parrot, etc.).
