That is exactly my plan. Now I just need to decide on my budget.
After this is the first time we’ll actually get a month between mythics since Euryali. This will be 17 mythics in a year for console players (and 12 in 6 months).

Skadi is pretty decent as a gw defence troop imo but those blue storms can drop you in the shit!

That versatility is really messing with my ability to advance-farm all the arcanes I need. I thought I had everything I needed for Gargantaur (assuming I’m lucky enough to land him), but now they changed his Arcanes 3 days before release and I have zero lavas.
To be clear, I’m not complaining about the change and I don’t believe that I’m entitled to know all the details of future troops in advance. But if this is the new normal, it will just mean that I farm reactively instead of proactively from now on. I’ve got plenty of un-traited troops, so it isn’t a big deal to me, but it was nice to be able to plan in advance a bit.

I’ve been farming arcanes like crazy for 5 months trying to get all my troops traited. I’ve gone from over 800 needed to under 300 in that time and I’m starting to finish off colors now. Having some advance knowledge of what was coming was really helpful for me in knowing how much glory to spend in a week and where to focus my farming efforts. For example, had I known that Gargantaur was going to need Lavas, I would have bought a few more packs when Claw Dancer was in the store. Likewise, if I could see that the same stone was coming up for glory at different prices in different weeks, I’d plan my purchases to get as many stones as possible. As it was, I thought I had exactly enough to trait the last of my troops and didn’t want to waste any glory to build up some inventory that I wasn’t going to need in the foreseeable future.
Again, not complaining, but it is a very stark difference from two months ago when I could look forward and plan with almost absolute certainty to now where we have release dates for only a couple troops and things are changing without notice. I suspect that the devs have things planned a lot more thoroughly than they are letting on and are only pushing the final versions of troops into the game files as they need them now.
From now on, I think I’ll focus on the untraited troops in my deck and worry less about what is coming.

I have 108 if you want to borrow a few!
I’ve been there and did the same, but my plan just involved a good surplus of each arcane until i could get at least 16 extra arcanes (after traiting the troop released with each pack), waiting for any new Legendary that might come. And i would go with a few adjusts depending of the context:

16 extra Arcanes on Ultra-Rare packs. 5 extra if i don’t need to use Event Keys focusing on a new legendary (to avoid a big excess of copies past Mythic Ascension). This way i would have 21 Arcanes for any Mythic that could be acquired.

32 extra Arcanes on glory packs with two Arcanes. Depending on how many i still need to trait old troops i would buy 10 extra packs. Or less, if there is any Ultra Rare of the same colors spoiled in future packs.
You can “mix and match” with your own needs in mind, but mostly i suggest to aim for small attainable goals on each day you decide to farm for Arcanes. Something like:
- “I have 13 Arcane Shields and 8 Arcane Blade, i’ll farm until i have 16 of each today.”
- “There is no preview when Arcane Dark will be in glory packs, better get at least five of those today…”
Once you have at least 37 of each Arcane you might use a few, always leaving at least 21 for Mythics, to upgrade old troops.
Also, don’t farm 60 Arcanes in two days. It’s tiresome… 
But cheer up, it’s not a race, but a journey. Take some time to rest and enjoy other things too.

It’s actually a lot more like it was before the Console merger so I suspect this is how the devs prefer to work - with fewer troops pre-loaded in game as spoilers.
I can confirm from chats with the devs that they have plans for many more troops and Kingdoms than are ever shown in spoilers.

That is very useful context for me. Being a console player, I think I had grown overly accustomed to knowing exactly what was coming.
@Ivar - I’ve been taking a different approach than you, but both are quite systematic. I’ve been making really good progress over the last couple months and should have all my true-kingdom troops traited sometime in February at this rate. After not getting a mythic for 4 months, I landed the last two and crafted two others and am still making rapid progress. I think I’ll just shift my focus to clearing my backlog now and then deal with new troops as they come. Once I’ve traited all my existing troops, I’ll start to build up an inventory that will allow me to absorb any surprise troops.

Normally we shouldn’t have spoilers to plan which arcanes to farm/buy, so let’s be happy with what we have even if it’s not 100% reliable. If players begin to complain, devs are going to remove them…
Moreover, arcanes are always useful (for future troops) .

Are we sure Khaziel is the next event? Usually when a mythic is release the next week event is the same kingdom
