Aw come on, it’s even got the same name as the cat from the show!
Anyone have any ideas for Mini-Mimic?
Here’s my issue: Mini-Mimic is already a sub-name taken from the Mimic card in this game. And, that idea is also taken from the grand idea of Mimic chests that appear in many games.
So, I can’t really find a specific name for it from Pop Culture, because, it, itself, is from Pop Culture. The only thing I could think is: I like Yugioh. In Yugioh there are Mimic chest cards, but there is also a card called Copycat. While not directly related, a lot of people would see copycat and mimic as a synonym.
I think it would work for my pop culture reference thing, but it’s kind of an odd/obscure one. And, explanation-wise, it’s kind of a “long walk for a short drink of water”, if you know what I mean.
If anyone has a better name, feel free to tell me. Lol.
I’ll give you that it is a good name.
(But, I’m a cat lover, so… :P)
I’m going with “Gene Simmons” when I get mine. Because - well, just look at him.
I called mine for Minic
Echo…
get it? lol
“chesty boy”
Actually… No. Lol.
Unless you mean it’s all an “Echo” of Mimics as a whole. Like there’s the grand idea of them, the in game one, and the mini one.
Echo… mirror image of its victims
Oh. Lol.
Between your explanation and mine, that’s not a bad idea.
I like “Echo”. I might have to steal it.
Mimic is the perfect name for it, because that’s what it is. But, sadly, that’s what they called it in the game already. Lol.
I cant wait until I get the Manticore cub, it will be called Shadow.
I have no idea what I’ll name the baby manticore. Maybe I’ll name him @efh313 because it has a melodic voice that can charm its victim.
Stinger/Stunner also cool for the little cub.
Talking about @efh313 , there really should have been a Mini Bard for him, looking like a wildfolk.
We already have mini Faunessa, but we also need a male.
Yea, they really need a mini Bard to represent @efh313
Minishroom = FunGuy
I was using word association but stumbled upon a convention I like even better.
- Falabella → She Who Neighs
- Leafette → She Who Leaves
- Lucky → She Who Meows
- Minishroom → It That Grows
- Minitaur → She Who Stomps
- Ogrikin → He Who Snots
- Shortlong → He Who Coils
- Snow Bunny → She Who Chews
- Trogpole → He Who Croaks
Don’t ask me how I tell boy and girl pets apart, or which ones have no gender.
That’s a clever one.
Plus, you’ll never run out of options.
