Unfortunately, we cannot always have a staff member working throughout the night. We are also currently unable to provide 24 hour updates, though we are present for around 18 hours a day to do so.
This may change in the future, but right now there are more pressing issues we have to address, such as getting everything running smoothly again. We have no intention of ever ignoring you, it’s the last thing we want, but right now we don’t have the resources for 24 hour updates.
We are doing the best we can with what we’ve got. Moving forward we will see what can be done, but right now the devs are buckling down to fix things as quickly as possible so you can all play.
@ogunther btw from spoilerd we can see they have about 2 month worth of content already done, so i dont think new content coming in every week can slow them down much.
They release 1 troop a week, sometimes 2 (at least thats whats its going to be from now), and they dont need the whole week to design it.
Yeah I think I’m about done with GoW. I’ll have to give it a week to see how I feel once I’m not pissed but this bs isn’t flying anymore. I expected more from a social media manager than more excuses.
Well actually that’s exactly what I expect from a social media manager. Their job typically is to just try to calm the people and let them know progress. I understand the frustration though my friend. Take a break, no harm in that. We’ll all do it at some point. Just make sure to come back as the friendly tree we know you to be.
We all want people to be real and honest with us, but they have to calm us down gracefully. Otherwise it would be, “We’re in the shit here, and we can’t talk to you all right now!!!” Which would be much worse imo.
No, that’s not what I meant by “excuses”. And if I leave, I won’t be coming back. I don’t need a break, I need a game that respects my time and a dev that doesn’t insult my intelligence with excuses.
No, not you my friend. Obviously I’m pissed so I’m going to take a break from this thread for a bit. If I wasn’t responsible for a whole guild, I’m pretty sure this would have been the final straw. As it is, I owe it to my guildmates to not act overly rash; but this definitely has soured the game for me that not only can the Devs not get their shit together but they want to use time zones as excuses for crap customer service and just expect us to be ok with a game that breaks weekly. Life’s too short and there are too many good games out there.
Any chance you could give us a heads up when you’re doing this kind of maintenance so that we don’t waste our time and effort on difficult battles, just to lose the rewards? I thought, after the last time the game went up again that this was over, only to find out that you knew there would still be issues as there were still rollouts happening.
