I’m sorry for not being clear, but i meant exactly what Lyya said. And i quoted that part because it is the center of your point, if it would really take twice as much effort to make progress in the game, then, yes the burnout would be a rule, but it is just one more cast on each fight, and sometimes depending of your opposition you will need extra casts just to shuffle the board for skull if there is an impervious troop ahead.

It was time to nerf Valkyrie. She was the best soul farmer by far. And she is still a very good soul generator.
The change to necromancy was just a minor buff, because the time you have to play did not change much.
I am missing a buff to compensate the loss in souls per minute we could farm with her. Increasing the souls per destroyed enemy would have helped every player.
But to you, does it seems better that now you have more options of troops generating souls instead of needing to wrap it all around one single blue transformer? I think that was kind of the point the devs were aiming to.
I just keep using the same valk teams as before, about the only difference that re-work caused me is regret that double mab can’t be used in mirror-matches anymore, because of the Mana Shield
also I just LOVE how people continue a discussion from 8 days ago after someone necro’s the topic, like nothing happened and there was no break
Personally i think people overreacted a little with Valk’s slight nerf when they posted before, and with the passing days it’s a good chance to hear(read) their feedback in the matter to honestly see, i hope, if the impact was that great. So i guess it’s a valid necro for the devs mostly.
Remember that Necromancy is still not working the way they originally changed it to work. Right now it is giving 50% bonus but it was supposed to give 25% and that is what it was set to initially after this change. If they change it back to 25% like they’ve said they will, the difference before and after Valk nerf will be a lot more obvious.
Yeah I was talking about Necromancy and that is my point; comparing the new soul farming teams now, to the old Valkyrie teams isn’t a fair comparison if the Devs are still planning on dropping Necromancy to 25%.

but when i want to achieve similiar efficiency it turns out im basically down to banshee alone xD
so right now to me there is only 1 troop that is best at soul generatin/efficiency just like it was 1 troop in past
the difference is that:
now it is a different troop so at least a change
now the other less efficient soul generators are still fair to use (in past the less efficient ones were so super ineficient that they basically meant nothing)
so yeah after this much time i consider it an upgrade
yet not a very big one
however the topic title is/was ‘How do you feel about the Valkyrie changes?’ not mentioning about other troops changes so strictly valkyrie-wise it was a nerf from 2 to 3 turns per cap which im not happy about. perhaps the question was phrased wrongly or missleading?
im still hoping hero will get necromancy trait and/or necromancer will be buffed
