@Sidousai Thanks a lot for your post!
I’m on the verge of not playing anymore, because these teams just frustrate me. And almost everyone uses these teams as defense. This makes the game for me a gamble. So I would welcome it if something was changed. I like the game very much, but if it’s just frustrating, the game in my opinion has missed its purpose.
Just to add: I am against the OP’s point, I don’t see the need to change ForestGuardian.
I would like to see Kerberos lose the Beast type, just to break that current linkage and ease the meta problem.
While I’m not 100% sure this will solve the issue, this is a good first step. Removing Kerb’s beast status might put these teams in a less totally OP state.
In my experience, the only way to reliably counter FG kerb is all impervious team, but it is very hard to get and trait the good impervious cards.
Although I guess I could be swayed if somebody makes a few videos of using useless impervious cards like dwarven miner or the suicide dwarf against these teams and winning 80% of the battles…
Use stealthly too, these can’t be targeted by Kerberos so you don’t need to field a full impervious team.
And as luck would have it, some really nice troops have it that do well against this team. Desdaemona (extra turn against daemons, double damage against yellow, double skull damage against daemons) and Spirit Fox (removes yellows).
What was that one trait that specifically counter Devour?
I can’t remember the name, and I can’t even remember which troop has it to search for ><
Indigestible - Rock Troll
He also has knockout, inflict stun on skull damage, which is handy against Psion and a 1st position Deathknight.
Also got stoneskin as well.
Two of the three trolls we have currently have pretty reasonable trait sets, however Sea Troll must really love having its immunity to disease…
