What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Ferit card drain all mana not working in raid boss event. Ferit only does damage but drains no mana from enemy.
The Raid Boss, Zuul’Goth, has a special third trait called Invulnerable that makes him immune to Mana Drain.
There’s also a double-space there @Kafka (unless it’s a weird, ‘justified’ alignment thing).

I see now you are right. Ferit card is useless in Raid Boss event because attack is on last enemy and that is Raid Boss with immunity.

The spell description also fails in punctuation.
I only noticed it myself today though 
To keep this comment on topic: Ferit will be rubbish this week. I agree 
Ferit is a pretty bad card in general, but especially bad in this situation.
