Color blindness has both a type and a severity. So there is no universal way in which someone who is color blind would adapt to playing this game. My color blindness is relatively minor so I just need to take longer than someone with normal vision to get used to the differences in the colors that I can see. Even now the potions are getting easier to quickly differentiate (on PC at least). But there are still challenges. As Tibo mentioned above, the mythic 3-cut mana gems still can require that I open up a larger view of the card to make out the colors used by those troops.

At least with the troops you can learn what colors they are. Potions are random which makes them much much more difficult to deal with.
