Neeker Breekers

Spell damage flutuation is not ok. The fact the troop is essential to an event turns it into a low kick boosted by the total mass of our planet… I’m just waiting for the complaints during the event when people target a tower without killing it because RNG…

Random targeting on the Gnolls’ spell is also not ok.

Just look at it as a minimum damage, then any extra is seen as a bonus.

That’s the best way to go about it, but that also mean her secondary effect is useless most of time.

New Tauros HERO Weapon boosted by Tauros, released during a Tauros week, but we don’t have a Tauros Hero yet that would be holding it. Are there any developers planning these events or is everything running on RNG automation to save on labor costs?

The bigger the 'yeen, the bigger the… uh…

I’m just going to…

…go read a book or something.

That new rare troops spell seems OP like seriously ridiculous!!!

50% chance of yes.

I get the same feeling. There are things out of place and i really think it’s due all the work with 4.0 so other things had to wait… I can only hope we get a rework for the weapon to make it better when the Class Event comes, but then what can we expect from the Class Weapon?

This weapon doesn’t need a rework it just needs a Tauros hero, once that is in the game the weapon is golden.

What is the event name a reference to? Most of the time I get the joke, but not this week.

Sorry, but i respectfully disagree. With a Tauros Hero we are generating a somewhat fair amount of gems, but that’s it, the damage is really low being justified only by the splash effect. When compared to similar weapons, of similar rarities and events, it feels really poor for a Troop Type that is not even that great when you put things together…

50-60 damage + creating 16 red gems=auto-extra turn, that comes down to one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

That’s… debatable. Each kingdom troops kinda have thier own corresponding identity/theme. For Wild Plain, it’s savage splash damage and devastating spell targeted at enemies’ weakness.

All 3 Gnoll-type troops fit in the later type, with random element to balance them out, as both Gnoll and Savage Hunter are just a Rare card, it shouldn’t do that much garanteed triple damage everytime on any troops you want. Wild Fang get to be Epic just because it can start at 50% mana and can do dangerous damage on full-yellow team fast.

So, I don’t see any more buff to Gnoll soon. You got better luck aiming at getting new Gnoll Legendary for Wild Plain, but beware that there will still be some random element to it. If you want to get rid of random thing all together, you should aim for Gnoll/Raksha or Gnoll/Dwarf hybrid, as those two troop’s identity are more focus on deadly focused single-target attack.

On the new troops topic, they all fit those identity in some way

  • Cloudstalker - possible to do devastating damage if she get critical trigger.
  • Midge Swarm - 2x scatter damage is great for getting rid of slacking troop with low life points.
  • Ragereaver - splash damage is Tauros’ main identity.

The damage is divided, a “D. Protector type weapon” can deal the same to a single target and even generate a higher total of gems in two colors, yes depending of the board it can swing for bad results, but so it can with a single gem generator if there are few gems of that color…

As @Drathas pointed it even come in the same colors as one of the decent troops of this kingdom…
Sigh

Splitting the damage, won’t help Ketras, dealing higher damage to a single target and changing the colors to Brown/Purple could lead to better results i think.

It’s a reference to a cricket creature from Lord of the Ring

Which actually makes DP weaker in the gem spawn department regarding extra turn consistency and i’d guess even with overall generated amount of mana definitely though with the mana generated to feed Ketras which is what counts after all :stuck_out_tongue:
The splash damage is not necessarily a disadvantage either, it will enable you to finish off enemies much more efficiently than DP would. Planning your damage allocation ahead, this weapon’s damage synergizes really well with Ketras.

All 3 look solid this week. :sunglasses: The damage on the Event troop spell seems higher than usual? This will speed tower matches  I like the 2x Scatter damage on the new beast. Weapon could be really good and am excited for it.

Which, to be honest, is no different from the vast majority of siegebreakers that have been released.

Yet, Lord Ironbeard can start at 50% and instantly whack red troops. Where is the equality for Wild Fang!!

(I know Lord Ironbeard wasn’t originally designed to target red, but it seems Minogor got his intended version in the end.)

Dwarves are much stronger than Wild Plain’s creature in general. But to be fair, Lord Ironbeard need help from King Highforge to start with half mana, while Wild Fang can do that on its own.

@Ozball
I just got an update for GoW on steam.
Any fixes or changes we should expect?
