GoW Website Bug

Every time I open the Gems of War webpage, the forums or support it downloads “Index.php” what’s going on?

It’s really weird. I know it’s not my computer because no other sites does this.

When you say “support”, do you mean https://gemsofwar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us ?

It seems to be a Chrome Issue with PHP based sites which you are logged on, such as this forum. You can see a discusion here:

I was experiencing the same issue. All it would do was download the php source code. I cleared my browser data under Preferences (all except my passwords) and it corrected the issue. I wish I would have tried each category 1 at a time to determine which one it was, but my bet is on “Empty the cache”.

Chrome under different logins was working just fine, so it was specific to my browser and not the server. I had already cleared my cookies so it was not the cookie issue. It may have been caused by my server initially needing a restart to parse the php correctly. I visited the site with chrome before I had my libapache2-mod-php5 module install properly, causing the source code download in the first place.

By the way, just a silly remark: Your bookmarks are quite… exotic:sweat_smile:
