Can a Guild owner leave their Guild?

I have a question I hope someone can answer is it possible for a Guild owner to leave their Guild without it kicking all the other members out?

The GM can demote themselves. Then, they can leave the guild like anyone else.

Thanks! How does that work?
I mean, can the outgoing GM chose who to promote in their place, or will it automatically default to whoever is ranked immediately below the GM position.

When there is no leader, as the next level down, you can promote a person to leader from there before you leave

Yes. AeroCloud is correct. Also, if the outgoing GM leaves the group before making the promotion, he/she can contact support and get the change made that way as well.

Thanks for everyones help it worked a treat and my old Guild is in good hands and will carry on being a easy going no rules Guild,but its also good to be care free and easy going again and as a Level 495 player to just enjoy the game without the pressure of running a Guild.
