Burning Scythe is targeting dead troops

It should but consistency was never part of the game, was it? O,O

OTOH I’m not sure it was not issued before 1.07 and the stats boom.

OTTH in practice the jevel unlocks almost at the same time as all the other 2x40 weapons, they are almost in the same league. If we look at the whole 2x40 group it is as spread in strength as traits are.

No it should not, that is not the reason why there are so many legendary weapons.
And all 2x40 weapons have in common that they get vastly outclassed by Burning Scythe.

Both Burning Scythe and Yasmine’s Chalice is on the balance list. No ETA when any changes will come out but we will be looking at some of the issues players have been reporting about the Burning Scythe at the same time.

Thanks…!!!

Are they on the balance list due to them hitting dead troops or because their stats might not be in line with other weapons that unlock in a similar manner. If you were to balance those two mentioned weapons would it be a nerf or would you increase he power of weapons in that same power bracket.

Here’s some of the reasoning behind the balance changes:
With the introduction of Hero Classes and the amount magic they can give, some weapons came out ahead of others.

Burning Scythe- When an item becomes the must-use weapon for everyone (particularly in the Arena), we have to re-examine it. Burning Scythe is currently the best choice of all the weapons of the same type (40 Mastery weapons). Currently the amount of power is too high for the amount of mana it costs. It also means we can look into the some of bugs players have been reporting at the same time.

Yasmine’s Chalice- Gives a large amount of both Life and Armor to all allies. Yasmine’s Chalice was a very popular item before 1.0.9, it was balanced with 1.0.8 Heroes in mind, but we feel it has gotten a little too powerful when you mix it with a Priest or Archer hero class.

What does this mean?
Well we’re going to spend time looking at both these weapons and bring them back to a spot we’re happy with, but it shouldn’t change the core idea behind the weapon.
