That’s probably true.
However, if they only release hero weapons that are balanced for Arena, they will always be lame. They probably should just limit hero weapons to epic (maybe legendary) level in Arena. That would protect Arena from future mythic weapons while allowing more powerful weapons for PVP/GW/Explore.
