What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened?
Used the “Register Account” feature in the Settings UI to enter my email address and confirm. Expected confirmation email, waited over 30 minutes and it is not coming. For the record, this has not worked even one time in a year. Go give the email server a swift kick 
edit: 6 hours later, multiple re-tries on my end. Checked spam folder, email server settings, etc. It has not come from the GoW end.

Register and wait for email.
