I’m trying to connect for atleast 4 hours and the same error pops up… I haven’t done my GW attacks and i was planning to finish the event Delve today… A confirmation from devs that they know the issue would be nice…

Since networks and servers should also work on Weekends. Because of this most companies in the network-sector have at least one or two persons, that INDEED works on weekends…

This is ridiculous, it took me about 2 minutes to find out what is wrong. It is NOTHING to do with GOW.

The other way round… Everyone has that problem.
I was referring to the Devs from Infinityplus2…
They cannot do anything about it and may not be aware of this Problem at all,
because THEY don’t work on Weekends usually and besides that it is Sunday Morning 2.07 AM in Australia so most of the Devs are sleeping I guess…
So you can’t expect any Statement from them… right now (at least)

We don’t blame GoW… I only say that a message from devs that they are aware of the issue would cool us all down…
Servers are down all over the place. Not just for GoW. There are a lot of places that are having problems world wide. One cannot place fault on the dev’s for something they have no control over. If one reads the list posted above, they would see that there are a lot of different people affected by this.

Seems to be all over, having the same problem.
Is gonna be lousy for GW statistics…. 
Noone wants that THEY will work on Weekends. It is enough what most companies in the online sector are already are doing (since years). That is standard.
One or two workers are there to look that everyone is running fine…
Or would you expect that if there is a problem with your bank account during weekend, you have to wait till monday? Ridiculous.

Let this be a reality check for everyone: the internet, which was originally literally designed to still function after nuclear war, is now so ridiculously centralized that single points of failure will bottleneck millions of people connecting to hundreds of services. The modern internet is held together by pixie dust and yarn.

If the road leading to your bank collapses into a giant sinkhole at 2am, and there is no other road…what the hell do you expect the bank to do about it? Wake someone up to go outside and say “gosh, yeah, the road sure did collapse into a giant sinkhole!”?
