What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I was attempting to use the Watcher to drain the enemy’s mana. This is, according to the spell, supposed to happen when the Watcher hits an enemy with a status effect. Entangle, being a status effect, should trigger this mana drain. The damage and minor splash damage both occur, but the mana drain is not triggered.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I noticed it early this morning (12/5/18), but I have no idea how long it’s been going on. It is very consistent, any time the Watcher is used on any creature with a status effect. (Confirmed with Burning, Disease, Entangled, Faerie Fire, and Frozen. I did not have time to confirm the rest of them.)
Steps to make it happen again
- Give an enemy a status effect.
- Cast Watcher’s ability.
- Profit. Or not, in this case.
