"Unknown Error" at end of battle

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
This is a weird one. I sometimes get an “Unknown Error” popup at the end of Explore battles, prior to getting shown the battle rewards. Clicking “Retry” makes the popup disappear, there doesn’t seem to be any negative side effect. It happened a few times when using Auto Play, I’m not sure I’ve seen it when playing manually.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Very rarely, less than one in a hundred battles. I never saw it prior to the 6.3 update.

Steps to make it happen again
Play a lot of Explore battles. Might possibly require Auto Play to be active.

I’ve seen it both on Android and Steam after normal battles (no autoplay) in explore and PvP.
As said above, happens at random very rarely, simpy goes away when clicking on pop-up and leaves no adversary effects as far as I’ve noticed.

I’ve encountered it on Switch with similar infrequency – and it doesn’t persist when pressing “Retry”.

Well, it’s certainly better than “your game is out of sync with the servers, please restart” error.
