Unable to collect this week's kingdom battle crashers

This two-week event should run on Whitehelm’s Explore, however it says I should play Underspire instead on this week. The problem is, I haven’t faced any battle crashers in Underspire. Not a single one. Besides, another problem of Underspire is that I can’t play arbitary number of matches in a single day for free.

My other option is PvP, I know, but after starting 120(!) mathches today, I’ve only encountered 9 of them. And as PvP is set to roughly follow my level, I can’t even start easy (low level) matches as opposed to Explore runs.

I do not have hours a day to grind for all battle crashers required to reach level 50 by the end of the event! Please either

  • greatly increase the chance a battle crasher can appear in a match, or
  • let battle crashers appear in all kind of matches, not only in PvP and Explore, or
  • make sure that there is no both Kingdom Pass and Underspire event for the same kingdom simultaneously, or
  • make sure that any n.th game in a row (n depending on the actual probability, see my final question below) WILL surely give a battle crasher, or
  • any combination of the above (or all of them)!

You have to admit you messed this up this week…

A question at the end: may I know the EXACT probability of a battle crasher appearing in a match? (Or give me a function or a table if it is dependent on a game type (Explore/PvP), a difficulty level of the game, or the number of battle crashers remaining one can collect for the day. (Or whatever else I didn’t think of.)) This is to know if I haven’t encountered a battle crasher for a given number of matches, it is more than suspicious. Today’s about 50 PvP matches in a row to find the last battle crasher were more than annoying, believe me.

I’ve not seen any issues with getting the bc’s on any day so far.
I also don’t get the point about Whitehelm not having and explore option. Just run explore in a different kingdom to get the bc’s, there not tied to that kingdom.
As I need medals I just move around the bonus regions but if I need to go it quick I just use Rowanne or double ironhawks on exp 3 or 1

What made you think the event is only in Whitehelm Explore? Don’t mean to be rude, just wondering if there’s someplace in the game where the description is misleading - kingdom crashes actually appear in explore battles for ALL kingdoms.

While I’ve been playing the game since its start, this is a new but rather valuable info for me. I always assumed that the only kingdom for the battle crasher to appear in an Explore game is the one the given battle crasher is from.

On the other hand this still doesn’t solve the problem of a battle crasher not appearing in a 50-in-a-row match streak. This is not an “issue” as you called it, but rather a very anoying problem, which still could be solved by implementing my last suggestion, i.e. to GRANT a battle crasher on every n.th match if it wasn’t encountered before.

But thanks for your reply!

They’re on all Explores. Average daily time spent on them is 10-20 mins.

Tip - Do Citadels first for chance to have one crash the PVP team lol.

Since the rework BCs appear much more often. Usually takes about 10 minutes in a kingdom of your choice, playing on a level where you can 1-shot your opponent.

Have you restarted the game? I sometimes forget to until getting about 10 battles without the first one showing up. Then a restart and they come back.

Battlecrashers can be found in PvP and in any Kingdom Explore section.
They are not present in any other game mode.

I want to narrow my eyes at 50 in a row. However, you mentioned that being in pvp, and I did feel like I was getting less crashers in pvp than explore. That could have just been perception based on pvp battles taking longer, but maybe not. I didn’t track the frequency in pvp.

In explore I was averaging the stated 1 crasher in 3 battles. :woman_shrugging: Stick with explore next time, now that you know you can explore anywhere.

I hope your rng luck improves!!

So would I, except I’ve gone multiple Explore runs in a row without a single Battlecrasher showing up at all. But other times I’ll get them in nearly back-to-back battles. I haven’t exactly been tracking numbers here, but the streaks are real.

  1. It was clearly my fault not trying to play Explore matches in other kingdoms. After your advice, the first attempt gave me my final BC.

  2. This 50 PvP matches in a row is still true, I counted. I received the 9th BC in my 72. game, and I left off at 122 without encountering the 10th BC. I still feel that playing Explore is much more effective than PvP.

  3. I still don’t know the exact probability of encountering a BC in a given match, however.

  4. This problem is concluded, thank everyone for your answers!

This is far the best wish I’ve received in a long time!

Glad you got it. Maybe they are more streaky in PvP than explore. I usually do whatever PvP I need for the day and get whatever bc’s appear but then move to explore to farm the rest as it’s much quicker.

I seem to remember them saying the odds of a kingdom battlecrasher would be 30%, but I might be wrong. In my experience, the odds are definitely lower than that, and the RNG is wonky as heck. I’ve had dozens of fights in a row with nothing, then 2 or 3 battles get crashed in a row. Obviously bad luck within RNG happens, but sometimes it FEELS very un-random.
As for your “every n matches, increase the chance to 100%” idea, a lot of games do this, because true RNG feels unfair to players, so they give a fixed chance to them, but the games use shifting variables, so the more attempts a player makes, the higher their chances, until they suceed, and it resets. It called something like “simulated RNG”. GoW could definitely benefit from such a system in many places, but given the heavy push for monetisation, I doubt they’ll implement such failsafes, unfortunately.

they dont appear in underspire, just explore and pvp. as mentioned any kingdom’s explore

Well, there’s obviously one way to determine it experimentally…

FWIW, they can apparently also appear in Epic Trials, I just got one at lvl 250 in whitehelm this week

Unsure of regular trials.

Edit: saw another one at 275 and got a screenshot this time
