I’m never really in a hurry to get everything to mythic right away since there are still so many troops that I need to get there. I think this is the most gold keys that I’ve ever saved up, to be honest.
It’s hard to say when that kingdom will come. The fact that they already had approval from Sony means they must have submitted a little while ago, so MS could be coming any day and the mobile platforms never seemed to be an issue before. If it DID come this Friday, then the 4th would be a good day to open chests. I can afford not to have any kingdom troops for a couple days…
Uhhh… that Uska kingdom might be released that same week Friday the 8th. I’ll posted what I’m doing but it really depends how things move along with the release. I might even split the pile of Gold Keys 15k and 15k.
To have to unlock an upcoming mythic would seem to be a cruel trophy/achievement since no amount of skill can guarantee it. I know, I know: CRAFTING. Still, seems weird to me. I would have expected something dungeon related.
I think that’s exactly it – crafting. They expect you to craft this mythic, which makes it a matter of grinding, not luck. As for dungeons, I agree that it’s something I’d expect an achievement or two for.
Well, let’s hope that it means that only a moderate amount of grinding is necessary and not the epic level of grinding I was expecting. Aside from the “get 2 vaults in TH” achievement, most of the rest are very… achievable.
Having to craft any mythic, instead of a specific one (that is not due for release for months), would have been better. Maybe crafting is not such a grind and crafting multiple mythics is achievable… maybe not.
You’re probably right. I should at least wait until they push the button on PC/Mobile and wait for the crying to start.
I was kind of wondering about that too - like there might be a sort of crafting tutorial by which everyone can craft this one troop, instead of it being just handed out to everyone.
I was mostly joking about the crying, but I have no doubt that if they make crafting mythics “too easy”, then some players who feel like they earned their mythics will say they’re just giving them away now. Honestly, it will be a difficult balance to make crafting feel like it helps without flooding the game with mythic troops.
Exactly that. The Goldilocks Zone for where everyone is happy with the difficulty of crafting relative to the investment made in keys/etc. so far is likely very small, and not the same for everyone. Ergo, crying in one direction or another (too hard/too easy) is inevitable.
