The Flesh Horror Battlecrasher

I’d actually think this was a lot of fun, if the drop rate didn’t decrease.

To get enough Common troops to ascend, you’d need 100+, right? Now that’s an event where I’m on the hunt for awhile — especially if this was a third round of guild guardians or something, and therefore I was actually hunting for 6 unique new common troops

I’d play all week constantly for that. And be motivated to use ascension orbs if I failed to gather enough.

Idk, for me it was over on Thursday when I crafted the weapon and made the devil mythic, I don’t need the 3 extra copies as they will be dropping from the vault at some point anyway. I do understand, that not everyone can play every day, so for them hunting the devils for the whole week is great. What I would love to see is the battlecrasher dropping a new pet on some event week, but of course that would mean the invisible cap would need to be a bit higher than 2 per day to mythiciserize the pet.

If it were troops like guild guardians, no that could be interesting. :grin:

Another idea - different recipes that need increasingly higher numbers of troops to craft (but please stay realistic here). That would also be something to keep us hunting for longer, plus there could be satisfaction right away, and then later as well.

Just make other resources easily enough available so it won’t end up in frustratwd players.

May I suggest an Easter egg hunt? :grin:

I agree with others that the event and systems were fine and fun.
But the appearance rate of the Flesh Horror ruined it a lot. I have 4.5k trophies at the end of Saturday and I have only seen 2 Flesh Horrors a day - no ‘extra’ drops.
It’s something I’ve noticed everytime you run 2 battlecrashers at once, I only encounter one of them, never been bothered before as they dropped the same loot.
I feel for any weekend players who cannot catch up now, especially with a faction assault underway.
After a few Devils have been collected they are only worth the disenchantment value of 100 souls, you are happy giving us a lot of 50 souls drops through Keeper of Souls, just make Flesh Horror an appearance rate of a Gnome showing up and everybody would’ve been happy.

Battlecrashers are definitely a trial for something more:

I don’t think anyone has mentioned this yet, but I would really prefer not requiring more than 4 of any given troop for a crafting recipe, considering that mass-disenchanting troops results in a softcap of 4.

last day of the week and i got…2 devils.
we all know that there was a hard cap, but i really liked the idea in general, if devs/moderators would only stop this lying.

@Kafka do Human beings have a “hard cap” of 8 fingers and 2 thumbs? Because 99.9% are born with that amount. While a “rare amount” are born with 1 more extra.

Show me someone who received 3 Devils between resets on the live server from battles and I’ll be happy to find you a 3 thumbed individual. Won’t make either of us sound like we’re not still full of shit of though. :slightly_smiling_face:

Because a bug I should have 5 devils needed to get the weapon trick or treat. I was doing an explore in Adana, and then the Halloween adventure board I won all matches and did not got one needed to complete the 5/5 for the weapon trick or treat. Will the bug be fixed in time so I can get the weapon?

The Flesh Horror(s) in the Adventure Board aren’t battlecrashers, so they don’t drop The Devil.

If you continue to Explore (and you haven’t already gotten two The Devils today), then that’s probably your best bet for getting the last card you need.

It’s going to be incredibly frustrating if they use the same, obviously incorrect, code. Hopefully they’ll fix it for the future, even if they won’t admit that they were wrong.

Okay, it is end of the event time. Here is my personal feedback.

I generally like battlecrashers. At absolute minimum I’m neutral on them, i.e. I never dislike them, but most of the time they add something interesting.

Having two battlecrashers at the same time I like more. However, I think I would prefer a slightly different method than the one you chose. Having one be more common than the other is fine, but I would like it if they still could both show up no matter how many games I play.

So, if you want to be able to limit the rewards given out by them, I would rather see that the battlecrashers have variable rewards (like how regular Treasure Gnomes work) than see the battlecrashers appearance rates change.

The Flesh Horror looked really interesting, but I only saw it about a dozen times or so, and that was disappointing not being able to see it more.

tl;dr - I didn’t need more rewards, but I did want more of the second battlecrasher.

So what you are saying is that since we got 6 days worth of 2 copies and 1 copy because of tuesday, that 13 copies should be enough for eveyone to get a mythic and extra copies. Everyone made their weapon and by the end of the week it looks like everything worked as intended.

…and I hope I will never see it when I opened the vault keys to complete your sentences.

I’ll be so annoyed if I see The Devil more than 2x when I opened the vault keys. @Jeto @Kafka @OminousGMan.

Other players might be less annoyed to not have to wait for next year, if ever.

If you have enough Vault Keys for two tarot pulls, just be grateful you’re so much better off than so many others.

Well @Magnusimus, I am happy with the 2 per day “The Devil” this week and I am not going to ask more than that. This could be a trial of what was @Kafka mentioning at the start of this week. A balance strategy so hardcore players will not get more than 500 copies of the same reward. My case will definitely not apply to casual players.

Unfortunately, I disenchanted Cedric. So more Cedric to come. :roll_eyes:

Doesn’t matter how few or many Cedrics you have. 0, 10, 100… They’ll keep coming. There’s no end to them.

@Kafka I like this event. I am happy with the 2 The Devil per day over 7 days plus another battle crasher giving rewards every time. The time to grind for The Devil is not hard too. I appreciate it because I do not need to grind for a very long time to get 2. Can we also capped Cedric? Like max of 2 Cedric/troops per day when you use your vault keys so we get more loots over these troops.
