I understand that there is a system in place to determine the money reward, which is fine.
The problem is, that the player now gets punished for the game not finding proper opponents in each category.
Because sometimes all 3 choices only reward about 800 gold.
If the game can't find any hard opponent for the player, then that is the game's problem. Not the players.
Yet by lowering the reward on the right, it is the player who gets punished.
I would always do a low, medium and high reward.
And then it's up to the game to fill those spots with opponents.
If it can't, yay for the player... he gets a high reward for an easier fight.
