It’s actually a very old issue, see Imp of Love Rework from almost two years ago. “Wounded” and “Damaged” both trigger when Life is below max, “Damaged” is probably supposed to trigger when Armor is below max. Unfortunately, the devs never bothered to comment in the past whenever the topic was brought up.
