Tyri is indeed half-elf… Marid is human. They share a rather infamous father, who will be incoming in a future kingdom.

Can’t help but i think that the civil war mentioned in the preview have his hand on it, like helping the rebels or something like that.
Wonder if that means the mamas are going to be the epic troops for the kingdom.
That would work if being an elf is determined by a single gene pair, but I find it more likely that being an elf comes with a full set of genes, which are then distributed randomly between the kids, making them mostly half-elf as well - or at least anything between quarter-elf and three-quarters-elf.

Well maybe this means we’ll get that legendary human now… And not make dad the kingdom epic. That would be… dull.
