Just a little info about some of the things we’ve done/found so far:
- We rebuilt all the art - multiple times
- Art was pushed out again
- We investigated whether the builds were failing in this area specifically
- We investigated corrupted files
- We have checked the atlases
- We have investigated different parts of our hardware & network for failures which could cause missing or corrupted art files
- We have worked with the affected players to look for commonalities such as platform and region to identify whether there was a failure with a specific store, game version, connection in a specific region.
- We have asked the basic troubleshooting questions regarding connection quality, device models and storage space for example.
- We have tested extensively and the issues are inconsistent across devices and some specific art being missing we can’t reproduce at all ourselves
It seems the fixes we had in 6.9 did improve the issue for a lot of players but it hasn’t completely fixed the issue for everyone so we are still currently investigating. I’m not sure of the specifics of the fix that was in 6.9 at this time.
