When did this weapon first enter the game?

I was surprised to see it show up in the Soulforge.

What other weapons are in this group?

It is part of the “new player starter sets”, it is described in the 6.3 notes, available in the Adventurers Path for low lvl players. Vets can get it in soulforge

I think there are 6 weapons and 6 pets, each tied to an individual epic troop. I don’t remember which 6 off the top of my head
