Sorry about posting this under Bug Reports initially. I am new to the forums.

Windows 10 via Steam.

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
Perhaps I am misunderstanding the PVP selection. I assumed that the choices would be based on my defender team but the choice at the left is usually a much higher team score than mine. I have to hit the Refresh button repeatedly or risk being clobbered by higher level teams. Using up a lot of gems.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
It doesn’t always happen. Is it a feature? Or am I doing something wrong?
Steps to make it happen again
Select a team as the PVP defender.
Test it to make sure it “sticks”. (Otherwise the game might not remember my last selection.)
Visit the Ranked PVP selector and view the opponent team scores.
Become agitated because too many opponents are impossible for any of my teams.
