Switch is several campaigns behind the other platforms.
The ability for Lycanthrophy gems to skyfall is unique to the current campaign on PC/XBox/PS. The ability to create Lycanthrophy gems “out of nowhere” are traits and spell abilities from some of the troops introduced during that same campaign.
None of these exist on the Switch just yet or will for some time.

This isn’t a bug, as jparaveen and Kezef mentioned Lycanthropy gem aren’t on Switch yet and it won’t be for a while.
