What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I ascended my Gargoyle to gold elite level and received the benefits during the first match but it disappeared in the 2nd match.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I just noticed it yesterday but it happens every delve run.
Steps to make it happen again
I was attempting a pure faction level 500 run of Hall of Guardians and after getting past the first room my Gargoyle no longer had the gold flair around his mana pool and he lost the elite level stat bonus. This happens regardless of whether you kept all 4 troops alive or lost one like I did. I don’t know if this happens to any elite level troop or any delve, I ran out of attempts for today to investigate further.
