It looks like the February 6.8 Update might finally address Treasure Map revamping per Sirrian’s comments and the Update being called Treasures & Temptations. If so, that would be a long time coming.

I am actually looking forward to the new Kingdom when it hits Switch next fall (not a typo), as it implies we will get a Wargare-typed Hero Class to go with it.

It’s not exactly the moment to congratulate yourselves.
At seven million and counting customers you leaved the game unattended for days.
You released untested patch. Repeatedly.
You lied openly about how bans are decided.
You diluted the orbs and gnomes pool with useless rubbish.
You introduced pure chance in the Dragonite roulette, both in giving resources and prizes.
Bravo.
My resolution for the new year is to go fully free-to-play. Thank you for encouraging me in this choice.

Find a better way to do kingdom passes, the current battlecrasher thing is excruciating and doesn’t incentivize paying for it. Give me 2 kingdom crowns per battle if I buy the pass and it makes the whole thing less annoying. Otherwise it’ll be easier to just wait out the troops and pick them up later since they’re usually not good anyways.

+1 to this. Every kingdom pass, I find myself hate playing the game. That and daily dungeon disappointments will probably be the main reason I quit the game eventually.

I’ve been playing this game for six years. VIP Level 10. I firmly had myself convinced that i would quit after this Guild Wars due to event fatigue and the absolute mind-numbing nature of the Kingdom Pass battlecrasher grind. There’s just way too much going on concurrently and it’s burning me out. I’m staying for now and trying to give in to not getting “everything” but we will see how it goes. Going to start by skipping the bounty event this weekend and waiting for the troop to show up in chests.

Alternately, you could just buy into the Shop enough tiers to get one troop, then just orb it to mythic. Saves a whole lot of time and stress that way for not that much cost. Blue orbs are easy to come by now adays (compared to pre GaPs).

Word, I admit I honestly don’t see any point in it except to generate cash, that kingdom thing and rewards are spread throughout other areas of the game where it could be already obtainable at the same time. The newer troops could just be put as offers (non cash kind) or in the soulforge.

Remember when they tested that with 5 per day for was it a week?
We all naively said we thought it was fun. So they gave us more “fun” - more crashers to chase that are harder to get (fun, right?) and a way way way longer period that we need to chase them (even more fun, right?).
Except it isn’t fun.
So many things that are amazing in moderation aren’t fun in excess. Like eating your favorite dessert. Awesome, right? But if you eat way too much of it you’ll only want to puke at some point.
