It might be best that we donāt have any spoilers for the next several streams. Iāll still preview upcoming content, but until we do a major stream previewing the update Iām happy to leave it alone. As such, Iām not sure if I will be releasing the gif at this point in time.
And yes, bringing viewers in is part of my job. Thatās why I donāt release codes unless we make certain milestones. I do my best to be up front with you regarding my expectations, and I also donāt like to go back on my word. This sets a bad precedent in the future as well, which I would prefer to avoid. As such, whenever there is the possibility of spoilers I wonāt ever attach them to a milestone anymore and will release them mid stream. Only codes will ever be linked to numbers. 
All that being said, our next stream is a more relaxed stream! Thereās been a lot of new content lately, and I donāt have a lot of news that I can talk about at this point in time, so Iāll be doing some team building, answering community questions and just generally having fun with you all. As always, I will have a bunch of different codes ready to go, and a full cup of coffee.
Iām using a new camera at the moment which is very exciting! Did you notice the change in image quality yesterday? (Also, autofocus is amazing and beautiful and very necessary for streaming. My old crusty DSLR couldnāt autofocus whilst filming.)

I see your point Salty ppl complaining about not getting the spoilers because some ppl donāt want to join. They were told that they were gonna get them then ppl decide not to show up so they donāt so, you say next stream youāll get it. Then itsās the whole boy who cried wolf scenario. I understand but, you shouldnāt change it. It has always worked that way for you just itās off itās course this time.
I actually think that itās okay to link other things to viewer numbers as well. For example - not sure if possible - I could see stuff like āIn the next Dev Q&A, we will add 15 minutes to the stream if we have X people watchingā - this could be an incentive to attract more people to it who might shy away from it right now because they think they will never get their question in in the first place, so adding āmore time since more viewers mean more questionsā is a logical thing that might attract people and make the idea of attending more enticing.
The real fault is just that an uncertain thing was made the main selling point of the stream in the last weeks. That doesnāt bring viewers in, it keeps them away since they donāt know what they will get. Attaching different things to numbers is fine, including spoilers. But then just donāt tell people about it. Tell people about what you will show for sure so that they know what to expect.
I think a lot of youtubers who do Letās Plays do that right - when they get a certain numbers of subscribers or just a certain number of Likes on a series, they sometimes host giveaways or just do an extra video or something. But they donāt announce these things. I click on their videos because āHey, itās part 12 of that gameās Letās Play, awesome!ā and then hear in the video that there is an extra available. I get what I was promised AND a surprise extra. Thatās good marketing which makes me want to check every video of the series.

I would watch the stream but the spoilers might be tied to cash shops and as Iām trying to save money I need my PC off. Sorry. 
Hey you donāt know that. It could be a credit shop, a charge shop and Iāve even heard rumors of a check shop. I dunno, but I wouldnāt bank on it.
Maybe they can pay me for views, then make their money by monetizing the channel. After all, each ad is worth roughly 5 cents, so if they paid me 5 bucks Iād make them 5 cents.
What, doesnāt make sense? Neither do cash shops or gem prices.
We donāt make money off our Twitch Channel, and even when we are partnered are unlikely to offer a paid subscription option.

Is there a live stream today?

Tomorrow I will be streaming once again! It will be a more relaxed stream with some team building, codes and the final art of the cat dragon being shown!

So, when will we get Steve Fawkner to do a streaming session? Or at least make an appearance for 5 minutes?
Steve (also known as Sirrian) and Nimhain do developer Q and Aās on our twitch channel. We donāt currently have one scheduled, but we hope to do another within the next two months.
