Gaining new kingdoms' commons and rares

I’m curious about this information and why a few individuals get to know information in advance.

Because Shimrra works closely with the devs for testing and stuff.

i don’t want to start rumors but what if he is actually an unreported staff member pretending to be a regular player who supports the game.[quote=“bluebehir, post:82, topic:5413, full:true”]

I’ve done contract work for Sirrian and I talk to him. Looking for more work. That’s… all it is.

No official ‘dev’ status or anything. Or we would say.

Haha! Full disclosure… @Shimrra did a little bit of contract work for us earlier this year when we were swamped with work (he lives about 10 minutes away from our office), so he likely knows a few extra tidbits of information about the game.

Like all of our team members though, he is under an NDA (non disclosure agreement) so he can’t directly talk about anything, except a few vague hints like the one above. So nothing improper going on here, just business as usual I think.

EDIT: Aaaaaand… he beat me to it! curses :rage:

This was the fastest response time i think i have seen for possible damage control. Inb4 conspiracies arise.

That’s exactly what people say just before they start rumors…

It is just simple speculation and i trust sirrian when he says it was only contract work and nothing more. Not sure how contract works with gaming companies or if contract work counts as “work for someone” but i know it means that he was not a permanent staff member if even counted as staff at all. I would like to know more about what made them swamped and how long ago it was that this contract work was done. However this is not the place for this.

Pro tip: when looking for work, don’t snipe the boss in the forums… :stuck_out_tongue:
