Fraction event doesn't bind to unlock (Not a bug)

What you were expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
I thought I missed something last time, but now I definitely see that I don’t need to do quests to participate in the event. And even buy fraction, for that matter.

How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
I seen it with previous fraction, but I thought I missed something. No, I really can omit buying/unlocking fraction for using it in the event.

Steps to make it happen again

  • Do not buy/unlock fraction
  • Participate in the event freely.

I believe it’s only for Delves that you have to do the quests first. Faction events are always unlocked.

But it’s a Delve too. Or “event delve” doesn’t count as delve? :slight_smile:

That’s basically what this confirms. You can participate in the event even if you haven’t unlocked the faction. That way, newbie players that might not even be far enough to have unlocked any of them have a shot at playing in the event.

This is intentional as @Slypenslyde explains so that you can participate in the Faction Event.
