What were you expecting to happen, and what actually happened:
You want to see a clean square grid board 8 x 8 = 64, just like the Chess Board.
Well, you often get distortions, like white stripes or lines that are appearing on certain random places.
So, yes, it’s not always on the same spot. It appears that some spells can trigger this effect - the Dragon Soul troop - Fallen Stars, Pharos-Ra - Solar Eclipse ability. There could be many others.
How often does this happen? When did it begin happening?
Quite often. Undetermined, but I suppose it’s an older issue.
Steps to make it happen again:
- Play the game or observe the videos.
- Try various troops and their abilities to determine if the issue is related and on the same spots.
- Tacet the Terror’s videos on YouTube are quite often infested with this problem.
