(!) Spoiler Alert (!) -- [Any Details Provided are Subject to Change] (Part 1)

I guess they are the campaign legendary and mythic which were accidentally put in chests a few weeks ago

The 3 Legendaries are part of the Mythic .

I counted my troops and I have 864. I know that gowdb.com skips the 6 treasure troops, so I should have 858. I hadn’t updated in a few weeks, so I’m wondering if gowdb is updating. I’ll have to check on Monday if the numbers go up from 857 as the max.

gowdb doesn’t have the daemon gnome yet

also this …

I think being stabbed in the eyes with that weapon would hurt less than looking at its “art”…

Oh well, at least lately we are getting some decent and even great troop’s artworks.

Interesting… I didn’t realize there are more weapons in the pipeline that weren’t in any lists, so no info about them at all except the arts, which will be ready to put in the game live any time.

Although, some arts were very telling. With red background, these are 100% new set of Doomed Weapons!

Doomed Wands  Pretty cool looking

Arfena is not my typo. expect that to get fixed to Arena. Let the speculations begin. Preferably not talks about more monetization please.

Tinkertown troops:

  1. Detect-o-bot
    Big Brother is watching.

Base Rarity: Rare
Troop Type: Mech
Troop Role: Support

Electrocharge
Give all other Allies a quarter of their Mana. Create 8 Red Gems for each Enemy with full Mana. There’s a 10% chance to self destruct. [8x]

Mana Color: Red, Purple
Mana Cost: 12

Trait #1: Deep Shield
Gain 9 Armor when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Repair
Gain 1 Armor on 4 or 5 Gem matches.

Trait #3: Stealthy
Cannot be targeted by spells (unless there are no other targets).

Stealthy…

  1. Smash-o-bot
    Rock’em, Sock’em Robots

Base Rarity: Ultra-Rare
Troop Type: Mech
Troop Role: Warrior

Command: Attack
Explode all Red Gems. Deal [Magic + 4] damage to the first Enemy, boosted by my Armor. There’s a 10% chance to self destruct. [3:1]

Trait #1: Deep Strength
Gain 7 Attack when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Repair
Gain 1 Armor on 4 or 5 Gem matches.

Trait #3: Armored
Reduce damage from Skulls by 25%.

An exploder that can do damage. Hmm…

  1. Destruct-o-bot
    What does this button do?

Base Rarity: Epic
Troop Type: Dwarf, Mech
Troop Role: Assassin

Deal [Magic + 3] damage to an Enemy, with a 50% chance to deal triple damage. There’s a 10% chance to self destruct.

Gain 9 Armor when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Repair

  1. Tink Steamwhistle
    I’m a little teapot.

Base Rarity: Legendary

Dwarven Ingenuity
Give [Magic + 1] Armor and Life to all Allies, boosted by Red Gems. Summon 1-3 Tinker Town Bots. [1:1]

Mana Color: Yellow, Brown
Mana Cost: 15

Trait #1: Deep Vitality
Gain 9 Life when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Fortitude
Immune to Stun, Poison, Disease, Death Mark and Devour.

Trait #3: Flux Capacitor
Conjure an Electrostorm when my turn begins.

I’m assuming it functions like Holy St. Astra, which should be useful. I’m assuming Electrostorm is a Red/Yellow storm.

This is going to be a very interesting delve. Deathless pure faction probably isn’t going to happen.

I’m thinking Smash-o-bot, Smash-o-bot, Detect-o-bot, Tink Steamwhistle (faction banner) or Smash, Smash, Tink, Tink (faction banner). I like destruct-o-bot and I’m sure I’ll see it eventually in my run, but I want Tink to be unblocked until it fills, preferably…

for those that like to plan ahead:

Eldrazhor faction spoilers… yes, already

  1. Deep Elven Rogue
    Not another roguelike.

Base Rarity: Rare
Troop Type: Elf, Rogue
Troop Role: Warlock

Dark Whisper
Eliminate [Magic + 1] Attack from an Enemy, then inflict 3 random Status Effects.

Mana Color: Blue, Green
Mana Cost: 12

Trait #1: Deep Shield
Gain 9 Armor when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Dark Ancestry
Immune to Mana Drain, Silence, Faerie Fire, and Web.

Trait #3: Stealthy
Cannot be targeted by spells (unless there are no other targets).

I like the flavor text lol. The spell itself should be very handy to prevent skull damage and… its stealthy. Yikes.

  1. Deep Huntsman
Don’t buy him at the pet shop, he’s cheaper on the web.

Base Rarity: Ultra-Rare
Troop Type: Elf, Beast
Troop Role: Generator

Skittering Charge
Explode [Magic + 1] Green or Purple Gems. Then Curse and Web the first Enemy.

Mana Color: Green, Brown
Mana Cost: 13

Fun flavor text with Curse + Web on the first enemy. Explodes and guarantees a Tomb Spider on death. Well…

  1. Deep Magus
Otherwise known as the Deep Friar.

Base Rarity: Epic
Troop Type: Elf, Mystic
Troop Role: Mage

Glyph of Shadows
Deal [(Magic / 2) + 1] damage to all Enemies. Then Curse or Web them all.

Mana Color: Yellow, Purple
Mana Cost: 13

Trait #1: Deep Magic
Gain 5 Magic when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Dark Ancestry
Immune to Mana Drain, Silence, Faerie Fire, and Web.

Trait #3: Spell Armor
Reduce damage from Spells by 25%.

Half-magic is really bad, but webbing all or cursing all is pretty dang strong.

  1. Matron Velenne
    Mother knows best.

Base Rarity: Legendary
Troop Type: Elf
Troop Role: Assassin

Queen’s Lament
Deal [Magic + 1] damage to an Enemy. There’s a 10% chance to kill them, boosted by Cursed and Webbed Enemies. [4x]

Mana Color: Green, Purple
Mana Cost: 17

Trait #1: Deep Vitality
Gain 9 Life when attacking Delves.

Trait #2: Dark Ancestry
Immune to Mana Drain, Silence, Faerie Fire, and Web.

Trait #3: Dark Web
Curse and Web a random Enemy when matching 4 or more Gems.

Well, if the Widow Queen wasn’t used before, it really won’t be now. Curse + Web combo on a 4/5 is nasty. Since you can curse before webbing with these troops, hitting 42% insta-kill rate is possible. (and less with less troops on their team)

Part of me is tempted to say to run 1 of each, but we’ll see. Rather not think about it till after Tinkertown.

So for arena, it looks like:

Will have a bar/tracker/rewards track that will fill:

And when it fills we will get:

Guess there will be an arena week event, which will have bonus rewards for doing arena battles.
It a bit unclear how Valor will be gained. if it will be flat on each battle, or if it will give more Valor with more battles complete in a single run, with a jackpot @ 8 victories and 0 loses.

As for Tinker Town. Looks like RNG can screw you a lot, or give you a lot → Those 10% self-destructions can clear your boss room, and leave only legendary up (until he fills mana and refills his team with lower-leveled bots). But i can imagine, that most of successfull strategies will be focused on avoiding using your gnomes, without means to replace troops instantly. As RNG might as well make your troops hit that 10% selfdestruct on 1st cast, leaving your legendaries as prey.
I’d probably go Destructo + 3x Tink. Exploders aren’t realy a reliable troops for me.

I think you did wrong calculations there:

Algoritm for instakill looks like: 10 + (4x webbed troops + 4x cursed troops) so, 10 + (16 +16) = 42 as max. But it can also be like: 10 + (4x webbed/cursed troops), than it goes as 10 + 16 = 26% chance for instakill.
If i’d guess it will be the last one, that will apply (26%) - especialy if you compare her to Lady Morana (base 10% with bonus 2% for purple gems)

Guess team for this delve will be similiar to Crypt Keepers → use 4x of legendary and hope for few match4, and a bit of RNG on your side. Especialy that it looks like there’s no tank in this faction

oh my bad, wasn’t thinking straight. was half juggling the vault event while typing it out.

your numbers look right

I’m assuming it’ll act like King Bloodwood (each status effect is its own check on the boost) and be 42%

I don’t think I’d want to run Tinkertown without at least two of the legendary to replenish units. As for the other two, anyone’s guess, sort of moot if they’re going to kill themselves.

Not sure how I feel about Eldrazhor. Everything being Cursed+Webbed sounds like its just going to take a long time. And/or instant-kill mechanics mightily resembles Crypt Keepers.

I don’t think that’s the way to go with this delve. This faction doesn’t have a tank but it does have a troop that lowers attack.

It honestly looks like a faction where having all four troops is actually a viable option. Lower the attack of the front troop to zero, curse and web them all, then pick them off one by one with the Matron (starting with the opposing Matron). With zero atk and zero magic (from web), the troops shouldn’t be able to do any real damage.

2x destructobot, 2x legendary.10% will be more like 90%, I’m sure

90% for player, 1% for AI ?

This troop looks like it is going to add more grief when facing L&D teams. So your impervious or death mark immune troops are now in line for L&D and Orbweaver teams have web in abundance.

Lovely!

Cleanse troops. L&D hasn’t been effective in GW in quite some time. Too many solid counters now.

Yep, true, sure there’s plenty of counters and is a different debate which has been done to (life and) death tbh.

We don’t need web and curse on 4/5 gems in general, but if that’s what they are doing, /shrug. It also has Dark Ancestry, so your best choice may be stunning it in general play.

Maybe there will be more grief teams though.

As weird as it sounds, this troop might actually need a buff, because right now, its the least important part of Eldrazhor.

17 mana is no spring chicken.

Faction troops: Green/Brown (exploder), Blue/Green (disabler), Yellow/Purple (status effect spreader/half damage AoE), Green/Purple (overpriced single target attacker, unless you happen to get the instakill)

Matron is just so color blocked beyond oblivion unless you want to skip out on Web All or Curse All, or you place it in the 3rd slot, slowing down Deep Magus. I think you need Deep Magus to make Matron Velenne have any decent chance to instakill…

There’s nothing that helps its curse + web 4th trait out either, leaving only random 4/5 matches in the wild that only occasionally occurs.

On a related note, that Tomb Spider might be the MVP of this faction, when it spawns in.
